I can not say enough good things about Holly and Shoreline Pet grooming. We have been going to Holly for 14 years now. She not only can handle our 100lb, overstimulated dog, but our 14-year-old dog who needs special accommodations to make the grooming process smooth and stress free! Holly has always gone above and beyond for our dogs. Her love for animals is clear through the way she runs her business and provides the best care for all her clients. I can not recommend her enough.

Holly & Jenn are wonderful people to deal with! I have been going to them for 15 years now. My Dogs have always come back looking wonderful and well rested like a day at the Spa! They were also very helpful when i rescued my puppy from Georgia and she came up on a transport, Jenn told me she would stay open long enough for me to bring her directly to her to be bathed. That was something you dont see now a days! Thanks again Holly and Jenn for your caring and your expertise at grooming my girls throughout the years!!!

LOL - this I’d my FIRST time using a pet grooming service - so - maybe i don’t know squat…. But… I called around 8:30 os so and explained i had an Australian Shepherd that really needed to be groomed (knot city. (Please - I feel absolutely horrible😞. I was surprised, if I could get Ruby there asap, they could do her right then! 👍 Holly took care of Ruby. Ruby is only a year and eight mos. so she is a handful… then I was given my leave and told to expect a call in about an hour and a half. That was pretty darn close to right on. I arrived to find a pooch who looked like a rock star - even had bows on her ears! Trimmed, washed, and all gussied up…. I was expecting an exorbitant bill, but was shocked at how reasonable it was - considering what was involved. I was so taken aback and please I left a very generous tip! The place is small, but you can tell its filled with love for the cats and dogs they see. I will definitely go back for her birthday in December!

After 15 years of bringing my prior Airedale to be cut by Patrick the owner had nothing pleasant to say about him. I informed her that because of my past experience with Patrick I would give her a chance to earn my business with my 9 month old Airedale. I brought my dog there to get a quote and see how she did on the table. The owner told me she would do it for $67 even though she was not the best on the table. After she was cut the following week I brought $90 to give the groomer as I knew it was going to be a difficult cut - I was giving this regardless of what the haircut looked like. When I went in to pick her up the owner told me it was $106 and that there was an ATM around the corner. This is bad business ethics - all she had to do was tell me prior that the price would range and or give me a call to let me know. The owner was also rude to me on both experiences by disagreeing with my training methods (I guess she know better than a Private trainer with over 35 years of experience and who has trained more than 20,000 dogs). I will not be returning to this groomer.

My cat has never needed grooming until recently. Life has been tougher since his diagnosis of an autoimmune brain disease. His hair mats really snuck up on me, and so I called about 15 different places to see if I could get him in. Most don’t take new clients, and almost all don’t take cats in general. I got a call back from Holly this week and she was sympathetic to our situation, and squeezed me in right then and there. She was supposed to be closed that day but it was clear that she had a huge sense of compassion for my little boy who really needed her help. My cat has been through so much this year that he now has a bit of a tendency to clam up and go into scared mode when I have to take him anywhere, but when I put him on Holly’s table and she gave him sweet rubs and gentle reassurance, it seemed like he immediately trusted her and just let her do her thing. She kept giving him breaks periodically and acknowledging him with affection. I was amazed at how her communication with him kept him feeling safe. He behaved so well. I am so grateful to her, as I could tell that as soon as she was finished, he felt so much better. And not a single nick even though he had some pretty severe mats. She is a true animal person, through and through. I’d have paid an arm and a leg for the quality of shave that he got, along with the friendly environment she provided for him. But it was less than half of the price I even predicted. Thank you, Holly!!!!
