Ponderosa Pet Suites

Warning for travelers with flights. Extremely disappointed. We dropped our young dogs off today just before 10am and within 20 minutes we were called and told to come pickup our dogs. When we dropped them off they placed them in the yard. we brought their stuff in and they showed us their space. That was it and then we left. It was quite rushed. When they called they said your dogs are scared and won’t let us approach them so you need to come pick them up. I asked if we could sit with them till they become comfortable and were told no but we could talk about it when we get there. They already had all of our stuff packed up and there was no real discussion. They said they had a schedule they needed to keep and this wasn’t the place for our dogs. There was no working with us or attempt to try to make the dogs comfortable. In the end we had no choice but to cancel the vacation because boarding facilities are all full because of the Holiday. What a crappy thing to do to people to not even attempt to work with you especially since they offer 2 different drop off times of morning and evening.

Will continue to bring our pets back here! They are very friendly and reliable. They update photos everyday so that we can always check on our pets. A 10/10

They did great with my pets and were incredibly accommodating with my instructions. 10 out of 10. And will be returning.

Ponderosa Pet Suites took such great care of my Cattle Dog and even updated us with photos while we were away from him. Would absolutely use them again and recommend to my family.

Highly recommend Ponderosa! We are new to the area, and this was Duke’s first time boarding here. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating! We even had to add on an extra night last minute due to flight changes. I love that the staff plays with the pups every day and posts pictures! We were very happy with their boarding services.

I have a dog reactive Siberian Aussie & have never boarded her for this reason, but I had to leave the state & ponderosa was accommodating, caring, & understanding. she had her own playtime, own patio, own room, & had special one on one playtime. it made me feel at such ease knowing she was in the best care.

This review is very late but always meant to say that this is a wonderful place with great people! Our dog was very happy here during his stay. 12/2022 Update: Our dogs love Ponderosa and the Ponderosa staff are so kind and accommodating. I can’t recommend this place enough! Thank you so much again for all your help today, Skylar. 4/2023 Update: Once again the Ponderosa staff are so kind and accommodating!! We needed to extend our dogs’ stay for one day and even though Ponderosa is booked out they made it work, which really helped us out. Thank you so much again!! Also, our dogs had a great time! They immediately crashed on their beds as soon as they got home — we saw from the pictures on Ponderosa’s FB that they got to play with a big group of dogs everyday! Looks like they had so much fun 🙂
