I've been bringing my English Lab to Arbor Dog now for a couple of years. She can't wait to get inside and is always greeted by staff enthusiastically. I primarily take Ruby for the socialization exposure she gets, and because she's consistently safe, secure, happy, loved, and comes home a healthy pup. You can't find a better doggy daycare environment than Arbor Dog. Thank you Arbor Dog!!
Absolutely love this place! My fur baby deserves the best care in the world and I would never trust him with any other daycare. Each staff member somehow recognizes every dog that comes in. My dog, Loki, is excited every time he goes to daycare. He comes home exhausted from playing. I love being able to check on him via their webcams. It puts my mind at ease knowing he's having fun and is well taken care of.
We originally chose this place because it was the only one in the area that opened early enough for our 7am work start time, and it was okay for a while. If your dog is very chill and doesn't get bothered by much, this place would probably be fine for you. If you have a puppy I would highly recommend that you look elsewhere. Although they say they take puppies, they are not great at dealing with them. We started taking our puppy here as soon as he was old enough to get all of his shots, but the staff were obviously annoyed by his puppy-like behavior every day, and I was often bothered by the way they treated him. I also think they cram WAY too many dogs into such a small space, and then the dogs get overstimulated and can start to get cranky. When my puppy would get this way, he would get nippy and then they would put him in a room all by himself, which just stressed him out even more. I understand that this was their only option, but again, if you have a puppy I would highly suggest that you find another option. We go to Dogtopia now, where there are far fewer dogs per room and they are put in crates in the same room as everyone else when they need a time out, and it works much better for us because our puppy doesn't feel alone when he needs a break.
After our dog got bit at pup city while being used as a temperament test dog, we had a tough time deciding on if we’d go back to boarding. Eventually we decided to try Arbor Dog and after about half a year now it’s been wonderful. We really appreciate Arbor Dog and trust them to care for our boy.
Our dog loves this place. She is an only dog in our home but really enjoys the company of other dogs. This is a fantastic outlet for her to get a chance to play with other dogs and I really like having it in the neighborhood. The staff are fantastic and after only a few visit they knew her by name.
Zelda has been in Arbor Dog Day Care since she was 4 months old. She is very happy to be there. She would not look back as we dropped her off at the daycare. People from this place really care about dogs. They remember Zelda and are certified to look after dogs with special needs. This place also foster dogs from the local shelter and is dedicated to animal charities. Highly recommended.
As a new and solo dog parent, I would not have made it through the first few weeks without the support of the staff at Arbor Dog! They are welcoming, patient, and show genuine excitement to see my dog, Cleo, in the mornings. It would be much appreciated if the two large holes in the parking lot could be filled. It's very difficult to avoid them during drop off and pick up. I appreciate that boarding is offered in addition to daycare and the dogs are allowed to sleep all together and not confined in any way. Whether it's for the day or overnight, I don't worry when Cleo is at Arbor Dog. She's safe, well taken care of, and loved!
