Dog Day Getaway

Our golden retriever Winnie lost her best friend and play buddy, we bring her here to socialize and get some energy out! What stands out the most to me is the staff- they’re incredible. They all very clearly adore dogs, and our Winnie is met with SO much love every time she walks in the door!! We’ve had several great boarding experiences here as well. Highly recommend. Very customizable stays if you want your dog to have extra attention/love!

We have been bringing our 14 year old chocolate lab, Sandy, to DDG since she was a puppy. She loves it there and gets very excited when we pull into the parking lot. The staff knows the individual dogs and greet them when they come in. Scheduling and communicating with the staff is easy. We enjoy looking for Sandy on the webcams, too. They're very accomodating whether it's needing to add an extra day to boarding, giving medication, extra attention/treats, etc.

Absolutely love this daycare! I've used several here in MN and DDG is my favorite by far! Everyone loves Elmer and they are so excited to see him when he arrives and he gets so excited to be there! You can tell every staff member really loves these dogs and they are cared for so well. I've done daycare stays and overnights for Elmer and he always comes home happy and tired. He has a special diet and takes prescription medications twice a day and their staff is always on top of his needs and they never have an issue dealing with them. I love their webcams to be able to watch him play, too. And their drop off hours are very convenient as well as their prices. You can drop off and pickup anytime during their open hours for an overnight and you only get charged for the one night, I tried a place before where, like a hotel, there were certain times you had to stay within for drop off and pick up, and sometimes it's hard to stay within that, and you end up getting charged another night! Anyways, I love DDG and Elmer will be a lifelong visitor for sure! By the way, all of these pictures were taken by their staff!

I will forever take my dogs to DDG. They love it so much. I have a large older dog that can handle it because he doesn't have to be with the young rowdy pups. AND they will bathe him before I pick him up if necessary. Great location. Staff is very nice. I have interacted with the owners on occasion and they are just great people.

Just had our pup (8 months) do her orientation day and she loved it! She was skeptical at first. I liked having webcam access and seeing that they are on the ball with mess clean-up. So far great experience. We will be scheduling her next visit soon!

We have used Dog Day getaway for years. We currently use them for all of our boarding needs as well as daycare. Our puppy attends full day daycare 3 times per week. They group them appropriately with other dogs of same sizes and ages. It helps our dog burn off all of his puppy energy. I love that you can check in on your dog with the webcams throughout the day. There reservation system is super easy to use to schedule or cancel daycare appointments. They offer discount daycare packages in bulk. We are very happy with Dog Day Getaway.

Quality service at a reasonable price. They had webcams where you can watch your dog online. The reason I keep coming back is my dog feels safe to the point where she can take naps around all the other dogs. Staff always remembers me and my dog.
