Two Ponds Pet Lodge

This place was a lifesaver when we adopted a six month old husky! A tired dog is a good dog, and when twice daily hour-long walks weren’t even taking the edge off her energy this place made the difference between us being able to make it work and having to re-home her. She’s always so excited to pull into the parking lot, and greets each staff member in the lobby before heading back. The staff are very communicative, and my son loves that we can see her on the camera. Highly recommend!

My Dog Rocky (with the pointy ears) loves Two ponds. I have sent him to other day cares but Two Ponds has been the best so far. They keep the facility clean and Rocky doesn’t stink at all when we pick him up at the end of the day.

Two ponds has been such a wonderful place for day care and boarding. They are always so kind, treat our dogs well and go above and beyond whenever they can. I definitely recommend them to anybody who needs a place for their pup for a few hours or a few days. Never have had a problem here and have been customers going on 4 years.

If ya'arnt taking you good friend to the Two Ponds... Don't walk... Run there! My sweet girl loves it there when I can't work from home! Full service place with wonderful people who love good friends! Groomer was amazing and very caring! Took my Sweet Pea from ragga muffin to sophisticated little lady! Excellent place for all good friends!

Great pup care, beyond expectations! Even a loving Belgian Malinois is brought into the fold with open arms-highest recommendations for the Arvada facility!!! Such a treat to see staff who love what they do! Beautiful facility with special events for pups like back to school photos and frozen treat options for the dog days of summer!!!!

I thought it would be great! But when I dropped off my cat and tried to tell the front desk about her, I was talked over, ignored and blown off. They took my cat before I even got to say goodbye to her and when I asked about getting a picture of her, she Said send us your email and if we have time we will get it to you. I was so anxious when I left, but I had to get to the airport. When I got back, she was supposed to have her nails clipped,I requested that. Her nails were not clipped. I drove right back and they said a groomer has not been assigned, I had been gone 8 days, no one thought to check? But they sure charged me for it! I told them to credit my card. My cat hasn't been the same since I picked her up. She was very vocal, not anything now. I'm not sure what happened during those 8 days, but I will never return and I won't be recommending. 😡 UPDATE: As I was going through my cat's food, I found another cat's food mixed in with hers. It belongs to a cat named Olive. Sorry, Olive.

Private Equity has really ruined this place. They used to be kind of fishy. I never seem to see dogs playing outside. The cameras always seemed to be broken when our dog was there so we couldn't verify if she was playing outside. But they definitely made sure to charge us to let her play outside. Little did we know, this was only the beginning. Over the past 3 years, prices have continued to rise with services continuing to decline. With a last minute day trip for work, we needed to board our dog for about 26 hours. We were told this would be $120 total. The reason? We wanted our dog to not be trapped in a crate the entire time. Boom. Extra $36 upcharge. Oh, we can't pick her up until 2 hours after the "designated morning pickup" window? Boom. Another $22 charge. If I wanted to be bent over like this, I could just go up to Blackhawk. But at least there, I'd get some enjoyment out of it, as opposed to here, where I pick up my dog and she looks like she needs a cigarette from the stress she just endured listing to all the other dogs screaming because, they too, are trapped in a crate the entire time they're here. Capitalism? Cool, fine, whatever. Taking absolute advantage of your clientele because you know you can get away with it because we love our pets? Nahh. It's not my fault you have a massive amount of debt to service because you factored in a 90% increase to prices to cover the promise you made to investors that you could push to a 150% margin. Customer service and speedy answers? Those have also gone out the window. Most of the time when you call now, it just routes to a central answering service that has never ever seen the facility.
