Hill Country Pet Ranch

I had a few questions after my dog’s recent stay, just some confusion on my end about policies and pricing, and the team at Hill Country Pet Ranch went above and beyond to follow up and make sure everything was resolved. They took the time to personally call me, walk me through everything with kindness and transparency, and truly made me feel heard and valued. It’s rare to find a place that not only provides great care for your pets but also treats their clients with this level of respect and professionalism. I was so impressed by their responsiveness and willingness to go the extra mile. You can tell they really care, and that kind of service makes all the difference. My pup has boarded here multiple times and we’ll absolutely continue coming back. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Hill Country Pet Ranch to anyone looking for a safe, kind, and trustworthy place for their fur baby.

The facility is super clean and the place looks amazing. The staff is very friendly and my puppy is super exhausted after his first kennel stay ever. We paid for the gold package which includes everything. The only thing I would have liked is when I picked my baby up on Sunday is that they would have let me know how he did all week, whether he met a doggy friend to play with all week and in general how his stay was. Instead, the lady seemed bothered that she was working on a Sunday and told us nothing which was quite unpleasant for the $800 we had just spend for our spoiled pup to stay for the week. I would have loved to known how he did. I guess we will never know but assumingly, he got the full treatment we paid for and was super happy and spoiled and loved on!

They did a marvelous job with Lalo and they made sure he was safe as well! My baby is always happy there and they sent me photos of him playing in the grass every morning.

OK, I heard this was a GREAT place to take my dogs ... and as a new boarding fur-parent, I love the fact that they offer 50% off the first boarding experience. BUT... the person who answered the phone said they had NO vacancies for the weekend. OK, no problem... BUT .. when I said I wanted to pay to try them out for the day, then come back when they had room for the discounted overnight! This is where it gets sticky, meaning if I do the daycare, then I can't get a "raincheck"for the overnight special... Sadly, the Mgr was not there to clarify this atrocity and right a wrong , so the company LOST up to 4 days of business.!!

We needed a place for our GSP to stay for a few days during a vacation. This was her first time being boarded, so I was a nervous dog parent. We decided to take a tour first, and it helped settle my nerves. They are so kind and you can tell they love dogs! We went with the Gold package and chose the pet suites. I definitely felt it was well worth the money. Plus, we loved getting a picture of her during her stay. We will definitely bring her back when she needs future boarding!

My son’s dog was boarded here over the Easter weekend. Their knowledgeable staff recognized he was in distress. He’s a large Alaskan Malamute and his stomach had flipped. They took him to the emergency vet for a correct diagnosis, keeping my son informed all this time. After getting our approval the vet performed emergency surgery. Hill Country Pet Ranch saved his life by being so diligent. We are so thankful to them. Had he just been staying with friends his symptoms may have gone unnoticed until it was too late. Thank you again!

They are wonderful to my precious Duke. He was happy to see me, and I was happy to see him excited to see the staff. I believe they take excellent care of my pup and they love him too. A great combination to find in a boarding place!
