Fido Playhouse

Fido is the most trustworthy and loving boarding we could imagine! Bunny and the rest of the team are so caring, intentional, and knowledgeable. They loved and looked after our puppy while he learned how to social with other pups. We’re so thankful for their flexibility and support whenever needed. Couldn’t recommend more!

Fido is basically my dog Pastrami’s happy place. We’ve been going for a year and a half, and every time we walk past the building he tries to drag me inside, even when he’s not going there that day. Everyone at Fido is Pastrami’s second family. I always joke with Bunny that she and I are the only two women he loves, and honestly I think she’s winning. There aren’t many dog daycares that put this much love and intention into caring for the dogs. While some places feel chaotic or impersonal, Bunny does things differently and truly takes care of each dog as an individual while running everything seamlessly. I trust her completely, and she’s always the first person I go to for anything Pastrami related. Also worth mentioning, the groomer is top notch. If Pastrami could write this review himself, it would be five stars.

We never write reviews but Fidoplayhouse deserves all 5 stars. Bunny and team are so organized, thoughtful, and go above and beyond with their care. Communicating with them is quick and easy and they provide lots of updates. They are so passionate about what they do it really puts us at ease with our reactive, stranger danger dog who trusted them so quickly. We’ve used basically all the services they have to offer and have nothing but good things to say - walking, boarding, and house sitting we truly don’t know what we’d do without them in the neighborhood!

Gaby was great from the start. Very welcoming. I was worried about leaving my dog since he’s a big small puppy but their reviews made be feel more comfortable and at ease. My dog stayed four nights and five days. We will be coming back for daycare and boarding. I recommend.

I experienced incredible service working with Fido Playhouse! Bernardo did an amazing job taking care of my two cats while I was away. He texted me updates after every visit and gave my cat his medication promptly every day. Bunny also helped coordinate the visits and set up everything with ease. I will definitely be reaching back out next time I am away!

There is truly no better place to take your dog than Fido’s! I’ve had pets for 20 years, and no other daycare in manhattan or Brooklyn takes them on as many long walks as part of the standard daycare cost, which our Winnie loves. We look forward to the insta stories, and trust that when we go out of town Winnie is well taken care of and still gets fresh air throughout the day, just like she would at home. We moved out of the area and still Fido’s is our daycare of choice. Thank you to Bunny and the entire team!

Leo has been going to Fido several times a week since he was four months old. Now he's a year and a half, and he gets genuinely sad if more than a few days go by without spending time at Fido with his BFFs Luciano and Tulio. We can't even walk past Fido on our regular walks without Leo demanding we go inside to say hello and get a hug from his Fido pack. I had never had a puppy before Leo and Bunny + team were kind, super supportive, and full of really really helpful tips on everything from leash management to the best kibble for giant crazy puppies to even identifying an emerging ear infection Leo was getting while he was playing at Fido one afternoon. Bunny knew exactly what to do AND even ran to the nearest pet store to get ear infection medication for him so he could start healing ASAP!! Truly above and beyond level care times a million. Even our grumpy senior dog Tucker--who is the chairman of the no new friends club--loves going to Fido to get groomed and lots of ear scratchies from Lu and Tulio. The entire Fido team is wonderful, highly professional, and always always always willing to help, and we're so lucky to have them in our neighborhood.
