Opie's did such a fantastic job on my Sophie. Everyone always comment on how pretty she looks after she's been groomed there! In a very satisfied customer!

Hands down the best daycare, boarding, training and grooming facility in Brooklyn. I drive my pup over from Cobble Hill to board here whenever I leave town. The staff is incredibly caring, attentive, responsible and you can tell they truly love the dogs. They’re careful to screen and socialize your dog before accepting them which makes me feel reassured that all the dogs there are well socialized. I love that someone sleeps there with the dogs overnight. Love these folks!

I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to go to Opie’s Outpost with my puppy. They are so friendly and accommodating. I messed up the booking and didn’t book a cut (be careful to book the correct service) and they found a way to accommodate me even though I was the one who messed up. They have a doggy daycare so they don’t keep the pups in cages when they are waiting before and after grooming. My little guy was a little nervous about the daycare and the owner let him hang with her and her small dogs out front. Great cut, lovely clean space and just the nicest folks. Will definitely be back.

Our dog looovees Opie’s. As soon as we get to Greene Ave he starts pulling and gets so excited. Both Stephanie and her staff are lovely and truly care about their dogs. Couldn’t recommend grooming more highly too. I’d trust them with our pup anytime!

I’ve been bringing my 9 pound toy poodle to get groomed here and when I tell you it’s the best groomer we’ve taken him to in the last few years I mean it! Everything I ask for is achieved every time, the groomers have all been very sweet and I am very happy with their new groomer Estefania. And affordable! Thank you OPIE’S!

Really bad place to get your dog groomed, wouldn’t recommend. They overbooked like crazy when I went, and made my dog wait 6 hours there (should have been 1- 2 hours) to get groomed. They missed under his armpits, and they refused to cut his nails (the entire reason i went to the groomers). They said he was too anxious… hmm i wonder if it’s because they made him wait in a crowded kennel for 6 hours before starting to groom him. Gave me a weak discount off, owner and staff were incredibly rude. After reading the other reviews, i’m just glad my dog came back with no infections. This was my third time going, didn’t have good experiences in the previous visits either, was hoping it would be different as it’s nearby. Hope they shut this place down or completely change their service.

I rescued Charlie from a homeless person in Union Square Park park. In order to get him away from his abusive owner I had to buy him. This dog had been used and abused day in and day out for his entire life. His head bore the scars and emotionally he was broken. Thankfully, I met Taylor. He took him into his house and not only emotionally rehabilitated Charlie, but he fell in love. Charlie, under Taylor’s guidance became emotionally stable. He ended up living out his whole life with Taylor, who loved him like no other. This was 2010. Taylor continues to help the animals and dogs like Charlie, who had everything stacked against them. Thank you Taylor. I will forever be grateful for everything you did for him, for me. We are friends till the end. Sloane (Zion’s Mission)
