The Barker Lounge

The barker lounge is amazing. From the staff to the pricing, you can’t beat it! It’s hard leaving your dog in someone else’s care, but I am always assured when Draco is in their hands! Staff is very friendly as well.

Truly the best in town. I’ve used them for 3 different dogs over the years and just realized they do grooming. My experience has not only been the best grooming I’ve ever seen, but the most affordable and professional! The owner goes above and beyond to make sure your requests are heard and the staff is so kind. Highly recommend!

The Barker Lounge Montford is the best place in Charlotte for dogs. They treat each dog like a celebrity and make every day so special for them. Huge shoutout to Castor, who is incredibly accommodating, flexible, and easy to work with. We couldn't recommend it here more.

The Barker Lounge at 1719 Montford Dr in Charlotte is the best boarding experience I have had in over 45 years of dog ownership. They have a very distinct personal approach with everything from check in, frequent updates while he is boarding and check out. I especially like the photos and written updates about my Rocky's day. They include who he plays with, his mood and how many times he gets hugs and pets from staff. Knowing he gets belly rubs and cuddles is very comforting to me as are the photos. I highly recommend this Barker Lounge!

I’ve been taking my pup to Barker Lounge for 5 years and we love everything about it!!! The staff is my dogs favorite humans and I love how much ky dog loves going ti daycare and boarding!

We started taking our Bodhi to BL when he was a puppy 5 years ago and won't go anywhere else! Our Bodhi is a nervous boy with separation anxiety; but loves TBL!! Gabe! Gabe, Caitlyn and Gabi always go above and beyond for each fur baby that is there for the day or for a wee stay. We can go out of town knowing there will be love, affection and plenty of attention for Bo (even if he causes trouble). The groomer is also wonderful! Thank you to all TBL staff for everything you do for our family.

You’ll be hard pressed to find a pet care crew better than the team at Montford BL. They greet my dog and me by name when we arrive every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. With a long commute to the office, I appreciate the prompt attention they give me when I arrive for drop-off. I enjoy the pleasant and easygoing conversation when I have a little more time at pick-up just as much. My dog can be nervous and shy, and the team has shown great care in helping him get braver and more outgoing. I’ve seen a really positive change in his temperament since he’s been a Lounger, through both daycare and boarding. In particular, Castor has demonstrated patience and thoughtfulness in his interactions with my dog (and with me — a first time pet owner). He’s gone above and beyond to communicate and explain what I can expect at daycare and boarding, and ensure I get my questions answered. This leaves me with a peace of mind that all pet owners hope to have when leaving their dog with caregivers. I have an absolute trust in this team which can be borne only from the level of thoughtful, genuine and kind service that this team provides consistently. I highly recommend the Montford Barker Lounge!
