Dogaholics

Dogaholics, and their staff, is consistently wonderful. They have a genuine care for dogs of all sizes, good daycare/boarding options and offer a variety of package add-ons. In particular, their groomer/stylist is amazing. She makes sure to check on desired cut length and focus-areas, I can tell she clearly takes time during the groom to make my dog comfortable & trusting, and the glow ups are always a 10/10.

Dogaholics is truly a one of kind daycare establishment in the city. They take such amazing care of the dogs and give them so much love and attention that I haven't really seen at other places. My dog is visually impaired and all employees have been so accommodating to her needs. There is honestly not one thing I would change. I couldn't recommend it enough!

Our dog is a very nervous rescue, and grooming for her can be very traumatic, especially if she is put into any type of small kennel. Dogaholics is the only place that we’ve found that understands our dog. They are very understanding and take great care of her when she is there to be groomed. They also do a fantastic job! She goes in looking like an adorable yeti, and comes out looking like an equally adorable princess - complete with a bow. I hope this place is here for a long, long time because this place is fantastic!!!!

Dogaholics is my dog’s favorite place outside of our home. She loves to go there and runs in the door whenever I drop her off. The staff are friendly and are helpful.

Our two dogs love Dogaholics! They look forward to going to daycare and get so excited to see their friends. The staff is amazing - so thoughtful, caring and really take the time to get to know your dog's personality. We also utilize the grooming services, which are fantastic. We are so lucky to have Dogaholics in the neighborhood!

Their website is misleading and should be updated so first-time visits cannot be booked through their online booking system. I scheduled a booking online for my pup’s first visit and uploaded all the required documents. However, when we arrived that morning, we were told he couldn’t stay because he first needed an assessment. An employee explained that all first-time visits must be booked through the front desk, but this is not stated anywhere on the website. I completely understand the need for an assessment, but the booking process needs to be much clearer online. We were excited to start having my pup attend daycare there, but ultimately decided to choose another service after this experience.

Love this place! Our dog, Diego, has been a regular here since we moved to Chicago over five years ago. Diego is a member of our family, so it's important that we can trust his caregivers during those times when we are not around. The Dogaholics team does not disappoint. We use Dogaholics for daycare, transportation to and from daycare, grooming, and occasionally boarding. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for any of the dog services mentioned above. Oh, and the owner, Candace, gives back to and is heavily involved with Chicago Canine Rescue. I personally feel better supporting those who support those in need--whether it's humans or other animals (or the environment).
