The Dog Stop - Bucktown-Chicago

The Dog Stop was the best grooming experience I have ever had for my dog. He is very anxious and grooming at other places has taken over four hours, which is really hard on him. We worked with Sarina and they did an amazing job. They completed his full grooming in a timely way while still being patient and attentive to his comfort. Their grooming package includes everything for a very reasonable price, and most of what is included would be considered add ons at other places. The biggest difference was how he acted when I picked him up. He was calm and not shaken up at all, which never happens after grooming. That alone says everything. The environment is welcoming, especially for anxious dogs, and the hours make it easy to book without it taking up your whole day. I highly recommend The Dog Stop.

We have been sending our little guy to the dog stop for almost a year now and have had a great experience. We love being able to check in on him throughout the day on the webcam and he is always very excited to be there. The staff are tremendous and really care for the dogs.

When my brother passed away in 2025, I adopted his 100lb Doberman pincher named Franklin. At the time, I had very little experience with dogs and was still grieving the loss of my brother. Luckily, I came across someone in my neighborhood who invited me to stop by The Dog Stop during their 1st Open House. I was instantly greeted by the owner who helped get me orientated to caring for our new dog. The staff and service is exceptional. I highly recommend their services for anyone who is looking for a team of professionals who are passionate about taking good care of our canine friends. Franklin always gets excited whenever we pull up to The Dog Stop parking lot. This is enough for me to keep him coming back.

Megan did an amazing job with my pup's nails and refresh services! He is a very nervous pup and doesn't like people touching his paws or ears, but Megan is a dog whisperer. She did it all quickly and effectively. She's definitely our new go to! I will recommend her to everyone.

The groomers are all amazing and take their time to make my pup look cuter everytime we go! I love the effort they put into stylizing the accessories with the fresh cut and my pup always leaves happy and adorable.

First day at daycare! So good. Staff was great and kept me up to date periodically throughout the day about my dog Mila. Watched her play on camera. She was exhausted when we got home which was great. Overall great facility! Clean!!! Staff!!! A+++

We started taking our dachshund here when she was only 8 months old and she’s just as excited to go to daycare now. The staff is always so kind and takes such good care of our pup. We could be happier with the daycare we chose!
