Zen Dogs Chicago Logan Square

We adopted a 4 month old puppy a month ago. She was pretty shy and skittish: dogs, people, inanimate objects would terrify her, and she’d freeze mid-walk. She also was having a tough time with her crate. Our puppy did daytime school here for two weeks and came out significantly more confident and was an expert at loose-leash walking. The vet immediately noticed the surge in her bravery and sociability. We happily board her with Zen as well as we know they treat all their dogs incredibly well.

We love zen dogs! Staff has always been incredible & super knowledgeable & communicative. We pass 4 other dog daycares on the way to zen dogs, but can’t imagine taking our dog anywhere else!!!

Our girly Xena has been a happy member of Zen Dogs for a year now, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have found them. We originally sought out daycare after adopting Xena as we were unable to leave her home alone due to her severe separation anxiety. Zen has made a world of difference in our lives and in Xena’s! We love their hours and the fact that you don’t have to pre-schedule —perfect for our constantly varied schedule. Weekend hours are a HUGE bonus and Xena loves going to the Fulton location! The focus on building a true dog pack by having a minimum visit requirement gave us confidence that Xena would be in a safe, well-structured environment. Scheduling boarding is a breeze, and they took amazing care of our girl while we were out of the country for over two weeks last summer. The staff is quick to respond, always friendly, and engaged with the pups. Also, the picture updates are the best! I could go on and on and on, but I highly recommend to anyone looking for a thoughtful, reliable, and loving daycare for their pup.

Absolutely nowhere better in the city for dog care! They are so incredibly good to our big girl Molly and super flexible with our needs as dog parents. Can’t thank you all enough! P.S. The dog bus might be the cutest thing you’ve ever seen.

My 10-month-old corgi has been attending daycare at Zen for about six months, and I cannot say enough great things about the experience. Alex worked wonders during puppy training, and Kayla/Brandon are absolute lifesavers with bus transportation to and from daycare. Every member of the team clearly loves what they do, and the dogs love them in return. I take such comfort in knowing that my pup is safe, happy, and well cared for when I am traveling or have to work late. Zen is the very best!

Zen Dogs is the absolute BEST. I found Cynthia and Zen after searching for a better daycare option for my 7 month old rescue pup. Since she’s a high drive dog (Australian Cattle Mix) I thought it was important that she have intentional rest during the day so she wasn’t constantly over-stimulated. The team is so friendly, knowledgeable, kind and over-communicative. Their expertise & love for what they do truly shines through and leaves you feeling certain that your pup’s in good hands while in Zen’s care. On top of daycare we also did 3 weeks of training with Alex who is an absolute magician. So thankful for the entire Zen team!

We LOVE Zen Dogs!! We can’t say enough good things about Zen Dogs. You can tell the trainers really know their stuff and you can tell that everyone really cares about dogs. Birdie gets visibly excited every time we walk her over for daycare. 10/10!
