Barking Hound Village Decatur

Barking Hound Village was recommended by several friends. I have a small long hair Chihuahua that I rescued in November. Odie adjusted really quickly and loves other dogs on walks. I did not know how he would do with lots of other dogs, so I was a little nervous about his trial visit. The staff was very patient and supportive introducing him to the group. Of course I watched him on the web cam while he was at play. A staff member is with them all the time. He was nervous in the morning, but by afternoon he was becoming a little more confident. At the end of the day they provided some pictures and a summery of how he did. I plan to bring him again to see how he does the second time. I would definitely recommend Barking Hound Village for your Fur Babies!

My baby Chichu had his first day at Barking Hound Village and I must say the staff is absolutely amazing! They welcomed him with so much love and comfort, which made me feel at ease as a pet parent. He came back home tired, happy, and full of joy. I can already tell he had a wonderful day! I’ll definitely keep bringing him here. Thank you to the team for taking such great care of my pup! 🐾💖

Love the Barking Hound Village in Decatur. The staff seems to enjoy the dogs and my four legged "kids" know when I say "BHV" and pick up the car keys…they are in for a full day of FUN. I also board my animals there and they always seem happy and cared for…I have never had a problem with the dogs picking up any GI or respiratory issues nor have my dogs ever had a problem with aggressive dogs. They seem to screen the animals well and know who will fit in with their regulars.

LOVE Barking Hound! They take great care of my pup, they are so easy and convenient and my dog LOVES it there. The staff clearly loves their work and loves animals and I love that I can see him playing on the web cam. We do day care and boarding and every time we have had a great experience! I absolutely recommend them To everyone I know with a dog.

This was my first experience with doggy daycare for my dogs Miss Sophia and Shug Avery and when I tell you it was AWESOME. My dogs, especially Shug had the best time! The pics did no justice showing all the fun she had. She was so worn out. This is our new place!

I've been a customer of BHV Lofts, but the Decatur location is more convenient now that I've moved. They have been wonderful to my rescue pup Dudley and he doesn't want to leave when I pick him up. They have a fabulous splash pad for the pups to splash and cool off during the summer heat. It is very clean and doesn't have the ammonia smell some places have. Only issue I have is the webcams aren't always online. Not really a big deal, but when Dudley is there, I'd rather watch him all day then do work. So maybe it is a good thing 🙂

I absolutely love barking hound Decatur! As a first time dog mom and new to the area I started my energetic puppy at three different doggy daycares. I ended up canceling the other two because barking hound is amazing! They are always so friendly and willing to take my dog willow last minute. My dog loves it so much on the days I cannot take her she cries at our front door or brings me her leash. She loves going!!
