The Common Dog

I absolutely love this place. I initially brought my dog here for daycare due to a busy work schedule but they’ve gone above and beyond with helping to support in training. The workers are kind, patient and diligent, they take the time to remember owners and their dog. I’ve done structured daycare, board and train, grooming and in home training and everything has been 10/10. Would recommend common dog and they wonderful people there, well worth the price.

I’ve been taking my Labrador to Common Dog for nearly five years. Everyone from the owner to the managers to the outstanding staff get to know and truly care about every dog who spends time there. The facility is large, impeccably clean, and designed with the dogs in mind. They are planning a renovation/update in the fall which will make the dogs’ experience even better. While boarding and daycare are not inexpensive, prices are very reasonable given the quality, caring staff.

TCD has completely changed my dog’s life! I rescued my girl in the fall of 2024, and she was dealing with serve trauma from her previous home, including major reactivity, separation anxiety, and aggression. After signing her up for a board and train last summer, and then following up with structured daycare weekly, she is a new dog. TCD has the most wonderful trainers that genuinely care about the success of your dog. Every week I am amazed with how Harley continues to become a better version of herself thanks to the help here. We are blown away with the progress she has made here. She looks forward to going every time, and loves all of the trainers like a second family. Added bonus- I travel frequently for work, and there is nothing better than knowing that my dog is safe and is being taken care of while I’m away. Can’t recommend this place enough!

This is, hands down, the best doggie daycare I've seen. All the folks at Common Dog are wonderful; they're knowledgeable and experienced. Everyone on the staff treats the dogs with kindness and respect. Common Dog offers interesting and informative classes on how to help not only the dogs to be the best they can be, but also helps the owners do their best to give our furry friends a wonderful life. Their groomers are great as well. My dog actually stays clean for longer than a few days after her day of beauty. Can't say enough about CD! They're the best!!

Can’t recommend The Common Dog enough. When we adopted our Dane back in 2024, she was scared of the world and we were worried that she would face lots of challenges with anxiety and fear surrounding new places, people, and dogs for a long time. Last summer we decided to enroll her in a 3-week-long board and train at TCD, and she has been blossoming ever since. We love to say she is climbing mountains, and that is largely thanks to the wonderful environment at TCD, where she receives great training, socializing, and so much care. All her best friends are there- humans and dogs alike! On days when she isn’t going in for structured daycare during the week, she sulks on our couch because she has so much fun there. We were thrilled when they started offering "Play and Learn" on Sundays because we saw it as a chance to see her in our element, and it’s been incredible to watch her interact with other dogs and people there- something we never thought we would see a year ago. We were even able to have a group of people come over to our home last week without worry that Harley would be scared (she did great and made three new girlfriends)! The Common Dog has played a massive role in expanding Harley’s life into something that anyone would envy. We can’t thank or recommend them enough.

The Common Dog has been an incredible place for my dog Brownie. He gets excited the moment he realizes we’re heading there. I’ve used other facilities in the past, and the difference here is unmistakable. The space is clean, well lit, and thoughtfully laid out. The staff pays close attention to detail and provides excellent, hands-on supervision. I bring Brownie not just as a babysitting option, but to keep him social with both people and other dogs. It makes a huge difference in his behavior and confidence. When I travel, I always bring him the day before because I know he’ll get great interaction and playtime. The next day he’s completely wiped out and sleeps for hours, which tells me he had a full, happy day. What I appreciate most is that I feel like Brownie truly matters to them. He’s not just another dog or another fee. They know his personality, they look out for him, and his happiness clearly comes first. He always comes home content, and I trust The Common Dog entirely.

I cannot say enough about The Common Dog. We needed help with our Colby he was reactive and skittish. After 2 years of trying to correct and manage him we enrolled him in a board and train. JB and staff knew immediately what he needed and what we as a family needed to continue to do at home to ensure success. I am happy to say Colby is doing well. We continue to follow up with both structured day care and regular day care. We have also boarded him since and all is well. Thank you to the entire staff at Common Dog. Sometimes it takes a village and your love for these dogs eases the feelings of both parent and pup!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!!
