Pioneer K-9 Kennels

I’ve used K9 Kennels five times now whenever I’m leaving for vacation, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! My pups always come back happy, excited, and well-cared for. Marty truly has a passion for dogs, and it shows in every detail of his business. The custom dog rooms are incredible, complete with personal TVs, ACs, and heaters to ensure the dogs are comfortable no matter the weather. It’s clear Marty is doing this out of love for dogs, not profit, and that gives me complete peace of mind every time I leave my pets in his care. If you’re looking for a safe, caring, and high-quality place for your dogs, K9 Kennels is the way to go! We’ll be taking our pups here again in December and we’re very excited for our own vacations 🙂

A great place to leave your dog. The owner takes compassion with each and every dog. He knows and loves dogs. The dogs have a safe and fun place to stay. By far one of the best places to board your dog. You can leave your dog there and know your favorite friend, (your dog) is going to have a good stay. I highly recommend this place and have to many.

This place rocks!! We needed a place to leave our 2 Boxer sisters locally and trusting. This place was the perfect match. The owner has a beautiful area of his property dedicated to the pups needs and wants. Will be using this service again for sure.

I was truly looking forward for my dog to have a second place to go to when we cannot take him places. But lack of communication on owners part is just too exhausting. Been in communication for 3 months now and asked me to contact after specific date and when I did he didn't even recall the conversation. Contacted closer to a planned trip date and he asked me to email, then I replied and never heard from again until I contacted now a week from then. And he stated it was MY communication that lacked when I have all emails and texts. I'd suggest him to get an assistant for communication if he wishes to further this business. I will be taking my dog elsewhere as well as telling the other dog owners I know not to bother.

Our dog Barney rates this place at 5 stars. He loves vacationing at Pioneer K-9 Kennels. He likes the climate controlled hotel rooms and the fenced in area to run and play. We supply his normal food and Marty feeds him appropriately. We even take his sleeping mat and some of his favorite toys. The rates are reasomable. Barney loves Marty and enjoys his vacation and we do too.

We've been bringing our dogs here for a few years, and every single visit has been wonderful. My dogs love it here and it is obvious that they are well cared for. Marty goes above and beyond.
