Bed Bark and Beyond

We love this place. Our lab went here for years and now we have a little guy and he goes to the small pups area. The staff are great and when I picked little man up today, the staff, Shelby, had taken photos of our pup while playing as I shared I was worried he would not like it there. The pups get to run free and play! This place is a gem. Thank you!

Great doggie day care. Very reasonable rates. The staff are really good at taking care of our dog. We mostly do half days but sometimes we leave her for overnights when we travel. We have a high energy mixed breed and she always comes home exhausted.

The best daycare and boarding for our pup. They love him like their own. Mary and Justin and all their staff are so loving accommodating and genuinely care for all. There is nothing more valuable than having a place you can trust to care for your most beloved furry family the same as you would when you cannot. So incredibly grateful and blessed for them.

Our 10 month old puppy gets so excited when we drive into their driveway. They are very accommodating and eager to make our pup’s stay as pleasant as possible! It feels good knowing I can drop our dogs off and not worry if they are content.

We've been bringing our labs here for both kenneling and play, and they absolutely LOVE it. They start whining with excitement as soon as we get close to the facility. A few years ago, our yellow lab escaped from our fenced yard. Since we live nearby and he loves this place so much, I called Mary, the owner, just in case he headed that way. She immediately had her staff driving around the neighborhood looking for him, informed every customer dropping off or picking up their dogs to keep an eye out, and even made laminated flyers for me. It was unexpected and truly amazing. We have both a senior lab and a puppy, and the team here is fantastic with both of them. Our senior dog has a bad knee and isn't very mobile, so they've moved him to the small dog area before and even allowed him inside their home. Justin and Teresa have such great judgment! He also has pancreatitis, which requires carefully mixing his food and waiting 15 minutes for the enzymes to take effect, along with managing a lot of pills and ensuring he gets no other dog food or treats. They handle all of this with such grace, and I appreciate them so much. If I could give 10 stars I would.

We were in town on our babymoon and wanted to hike Mount Rainier, but since the park isn’t dog-friendly, we needed a safe place for our pup, Remi. Mary at Bed Bark & Beyond was so kind and welcoming—she even had us tour the daycare and let Remi hang out first to make sure she was comfortable. They took such great care of her, and we were able to enjoy our day worry-free. We’re so thankful we found BB&B and highly recommend them!

Lost my dog, didn't call me until hours later (based on advice from one of my neighbors?!), didn't call secondary number, didn't call our emergency contact. Justin told me "We lost a pomeranian for six days once," which is the least reassuring thing you could tell a client when their own pet is missing. Our emergency contact ended up driving 3 hours and finally getting our dog from less than half a mile away. $533 in xrays later, his ACL is possibly torn, he was covered in cuts, had a torn nail, and was missing from Thursday morning to Saturday night. There are neighbors on Fox Island that have complained about escaped dogs, dogs barking all night, etc. Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe our experience with this place. They're could not provide proof that they are even registered as a kennel with Pierce county. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR PETS.
