The team here was above and beyond amazing! Their love for dogs really came through in every aspect. We have a very shy puppy who had a stunted/delayed social life with other dogs, and Camp BowWow’s staff worked with us and addressed any and all of our concerns - and never once got defensive when we brought those concerns up. A team of true professionals, and if we were still in town, we would definitely still be taking our little girl there, and you should too!
We love Camp Bow Wow! The staff is so friendly and kind. They always remember my dog Loki and we only come to Camp Bow Wow on occasion when we will be away from home for a long time. It is so clean! I always check up on my pup via the cameras. The staff is always making sure the area is clean and the dogs are happy! They even make sure to give my little guy a break when he needs one. This week they had pictures with Santa and they came out AMAZING! I recommend Camp Bow Wow to all my friends. I feel so comfortable leaving my baby in their care. He always comes home happy and exhausted!
This post is long overdue. When Camp Bow Wow Hoboken reopened, I was skeptical due to the previous abrupt closure a week after I registered my dog. However, the new ownership assured me they run 2 other camps and things will be different. And they were not lying. They are the absolute best. They were so accommodating from day 1. My dog loves going to daycare. The staff is so friendly when I walk in in the morning, so excited to greet the dog and that doesn’t change at the end of the day when I pick him up. They provide me with any necessary updates, have great events, and send pictures when possible. I hate boarding my dog but when I have to, camp bow wow is the only place I feel comfortable. I know he’s in good hands. Our dogs are like our children and it’s hard to trust other people and you hear so many bad stories but Camp Bow Wow Hoboken has completely 100% gained my trust. I drop my dog off and go on with my day not even having to worry about what hes up to. And best of all, he comes home exhausted which tells me he had a great time! Thank you so much to Camp Bow Wow Hoboken from the ownership down to each and every friendly employee I see multiple times per week. Keep up the amazing job!
We are traveling the states and camp bow wow helped us out with emergency boarding… so attentive and the girls were wonderful with the dogs… we would use them again if we bring our precious Maggie back this way
I haven’t been taking my dog to Camp Bow Wow for very long, but could immediately tell how much he enjoyed being there from the first visit. He pulls me all the way down the street once he realizes where we’re going. The staff are very friendly and seem to have a genuine love for their jobs and the pups they take care of. As a dog owner, it’s given me great relief to bring my dog to Camp Bow Wow. The prices are fair and the ability to check on your dog on their camera systems throughout the day gives an added sense of comfort. Thank you for taking amazing care of Cash!
VERY expensive and they definitely nickel and dime , almost double most places around here but you can watch them play which is nice on cameras You have to pay to have your dogs pet or have affection which I thought was a bit strange. I’d hope paying $1k for 5 days they would pet your dog while you’re away lol
Had a horrible experience with camp bow wow and their staff. Stating facts: 1. We sent our dog to camp Bowow for daycare. After a few days with no issues we purchased a 20 pack as we knew we would be sending him there weekly while at work. 2.) on the way back from a work trip I received a call our dog had been attacked in their facility and they were bringing him to the ER. I rushed from the airport to get him at around 2pm. The staff member who brought him in explained it was an unprovoked attack and my dog was not at fault and that the other dog had been exhibiting odd behavior for weeks. My dog required surgery, was put under and received stitches on a mm away from his eye and suffered an eye infection. We asked if the dog who attacked our dog would be removed and they said there is a 3 strike policy so the dog would have to attack two other dogs before they were kicked out. 3. At this point we had only used 2 of the 20 pack class. We Ofcourse were not comfortable letting our dog back and asked for a refund of the 18 unused classes and partial refund for the day we got attacked as he was not there the full day. The team refused. We’ve emailed back and forth for over a month and they would not budge - they said they had gone above and beyond by taking him to the ER that day and paying the vet bill (which the parents of the other pet told us they were forced to pay so someone (we suspect camp bowow) is lying. Regardless there is absolutely no reason we shouldn’t have been fully reimbursed for unused classes. They offered credits towards their other package like ‘cuddles from their staff’ or a bath again stating they were going above and beyond which we clearly would not use. My recommendation is to not trust this team with your pet and family member. They allowed our dog to get attacked, then essentially stole ~$700 in unused classes from us we will never get back and sent us home with a more fearful reactive dog after the attack. Photos below of what my poor dog had to endure. Mind you I was 7 months pregnant during all of this adding unnecessary stress to my pregnancy.
