Pet-Ritz

The two cats looked great and seemed fine when i picked them up. I'm not blaming Pet-Ritz but one cat left home same day I brought him back home. He came back 8 days later looking well fed and perfectly groomed, with a feather in his hat band. He had no explanation and refuses to discuss the entire episode.

I had tried a couple of different local doggie daycare and boarding facilities and was not very happy. My insurance agent at the time suggested I give Pet Ritz a try. It turned out to be the best thing I could have done. The staff is wonderful, kind, consistent and Pet Ritz never smells bad. My dog smells great when I pick him up as well. They are very attentive to providing great care for our pups. Highly recommended!

This place doesn't live up to what they advertise. They tout "acres" of play area but it's really just one small fenced section, nothing close to the open space they imply. We brought our dog in for a consultation beforehand and were specifically told her breed was fine and that she'd get three play sessions a day with other dogs. None of that happened. She sat in a pen by herself all day because they decided she needed a "Breed Evaluation," which makes no sense given what we were told at the consult. When we asked the manager about it, the response was basically that they were too busy to check on her. There are also no cameras anywhere, which I found strange for a place marketing itself as a premium pet resort. The kennels themselves are pretty bare as well, functional but not what the website and staff pitch you on. The gap between how this place presents itself and what it actually delivers is pretty significant. If you're expecting the "resort" experience they sell you on, just know what you're actually getting beforehand.

For over two years, we have entrusted our dog to Pet Ritz and have been highly satisfied with their services. We moved into a condominium when my husband and I retired and moved to Brighton 3 years ago. Since we currently lack a spacious yard for our dog to play and exercise, we bring him to Pet Ritz twice a week to ensure he receives adequate physical activity and socialization. He always looks forward to attending, and we are assured that he receives excellent care. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. On occasion we have also used Pet Ritz for boarding, which again, we have been very satisfied with his care. He returns home cheerful and clean after his bath! Finding Pet Ritz has been a win for us!

I can not say enough about this place. The place lives up to the name Pet "Ritz" . Suites for our pups even with TV's. Recently we had to board our two furry family members. I was greeted at the door with open arms and loves as I cried like a baby leaving my babies for the first time. I did message periodically to check on them, because that's what moms do. We received photos and accounts of their daily activities. One on my pups is skidish and afraid. Leaving her there was the best thing ever. When we came to pick her up she was excited, but also seemed to want to stay:) I can not thank the staff at Pet Ritz enough for their kindness and love for my fur babies. Highly recommend.

November is here and it’s the time of year I think of all the people and places in my life that I am thankful for. The Pet Ritz is one of those places. My dog has been going to the Pet Ritz since she was a pup. She is 12 now. I have found the Pet Ritz staff to be both professional in their interaction with me and my dog and in the business management of their organization. When I leave my dog at the Pet Ritz, I know she will be well taken care of. Thank you, Pet Ritz, for the outstanding years of caring for my dog Star!

We have been taking our pup Hitch here for a year now and we LOVE Pet Ritz! He goes once a week and then boards when we need him to stay longer! We are always greeted with smiles and such friendliness, the staff are like family to us and treat our boy like he is one of their own! Upon arrival, Hitch jumps out of the car and cannot wait to get inside to say hi to everyone, he is greeted with the same excitement that he gives out and is pooped the entire next day from playing all day long! We drive out of our way 30+ miles each way because Wendy and staff always go above and beyond and don’t know what we would do without them! Thank you for all you do!
