My mini golden doodle loves this place! He’s always super happy to go, even if I do tell him it’s the pound. He usually stays 2 nights over the weekend when we leave town. They have many cameras so I can check in and see if he is in one of the many play places they offer. They often do events to add to the enrichment experience. Overall, I can vacation freely knowing my boy is super well taken care of.

I have been bringing my pets to PawHootz for boarding for several years now and have always been so happy with them! To start, the facility is very safe and clean so I know my 3 fur babies are well protected. Whenever I mention to my vet that they require fecal tests for dogs she makes a point to say what a great facility it must be if they are on top of things like that. Also my pets are professional escape artists and there’s never been a problem, so I feel very confident in their safety. But on top of all that I know that they get to play with the amazing staff while there, so I don’t worry about them being bored when I am gone. I get to hear fun stories about my dog playing with a water hose or my cats lounging on the catio when I return. They also have super fun events throughout the year like photos with Santa or pet prom. They’ll even have themed snacks for holidays - I think there’s been chicken broth "beer" on St. Patrick’s Day and stuff like that. I've gone through so many groomers and daycares and I have yo say PawHootz is hands down one of the best places for dog grooming and dog daycare! Their dog grooming services are top tier. Every time my dog is groomed at, she comes back incredibly clean, soft, and relaxed. You can tell their groomers are experienced and focused on both coat health and the dog’s comfort, not just making them look good. It’s the kind of professional dog grooming that makes a real difference!! Their dog daycare is just as impressive. It’s structured, well-run, and clearly designed around safety and enrichment. Which I love. The staff genuinely knows the dogs, pays attention to personalities, and creates a calm, fun environment. This isn't chaotic daycare. It’s thoughtful, supervised, and run by people who truly understand dogs. If you’re looking for professional dog grooming, reliable dog daycare, and a team you can genuinely trust, PawHootz is absolutely worth it. :))))

Don’t take your dog here. They have 1 groomer who appears to not know what they’re doing. My dog had matted ears and tail. They shaved her down without saying anything! A cold front moves in tomorrow. The trim around her face is lopsided. My husband compared her to Lloyd Christmas from Dumb and Dumber. It’s embarrassingly sad. Just take your pups elsewhere until they can get someone who knows what they’re doing. Edit to add from PawHootz response: your "groomer" did not come out and tell me that they were going to shave my dog’s body down. Don’t specify a length. Just said the ears and tail were matted and what kind of comb and brush to use going forward. Did not state that they were going to shave down so close to the body which I doubt is a 5 guard. Her hair is less than a 1/4" from her body. If this is a 5 guard, this is what she has done in the summer NOT THE WINTER! Her face has never been cut like this. The haircut around the face is lopsided and looks ridiculous. You should train your 1 groomer to do better and communicate more efficiently.

We take our Doberman to PawHootz for dog grooming, and they’ve been amazing. Their groomers are gentle, professional, and clearly experienced with short-coat breeds. Our Doberman always comes back clean, soft, and calm, and you can tell they really care about the dogs’ comfort and skin health. I recently boarded my dog, Theo, and he loved it! I got pictures of his stay and all the fun he was having with his favorite counselors. At the end of the visit, he got a shed out too so he was fresh and clean and tired when I took him home. Pawhootz is our favorite and we can’t wait to be back! Thanks everyone!!

I have boarded my (exuberant) and (huge) puppy Dodger with them over Christmas as well as done an assessment day for him prior. Having worked in the vet and boarding atmosphere prior, I know how hard it is for every detail in this biz to go smoothly and they knock it out of the park. They were so careful with his assessment to ensure the dogs paired for play get along safely and continued to monitor this during his weeklong boarding, keeping him in a pair/private situation as we continue to socialize him. When I picked up from boarding everyone knew who he was and provided full details of his stay with daily photos in his report card. The perks and enrichment provided to him were so reasonably priced considering. We will be regulars for boarding daycare and training.
