The Dog House at Edgewood

You definitely do not want to take your dog to The Dog House of Edgewood if you don’t want your dogs loved and spoiled while you’re gone. Dita is a one of a kind dog lover. She kept us posted every day with pictures and observations about our canine kid. I feel very blessed to have found this place in our neighborhood.

Our two doodles, Badger & Bear recently stayed with Dita at the dog house at Edgewood. Dita went above and beyond with her communication. She sent daily pictures of the dogs & updates on how they were adjusting. Our boys felt right at home away from home. We will definitely be using Dita for our dogs’ boarding in the future!

Chicken Nugget has pretty severe separation anxiety and can’t be left alone for more than a few hours, so finding The Dog House has truly been a game changer for our family. From the very beginning, they have gone above and beyond to make both us and Nugget feel completely comfortable and cared for. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing he’s not just being watched, but genuinely loved and understood. We’re finally able to go out and enjoy ourselves without constantly checking the clock or worrying about rushing home. Nugget absolutely loves going—he gets excited as soon as we pull up and practically leaps out of the car, which says everything about how well he’s treated. The updates and photos throughout the day are such a thoughtful touch and always brighten my day. It’s clear that Dita and Zack truly care about the dogs in their care and treat them like family. We couldn’t ask for a more reliable, compassionate, and attentive place for Nugget. Highly, highly recommend!

We cannot say enough great things about The Doghouse on Edgewood. We have two labs, Tessy and Tucker, and they absolutely adore this place! All we have to say at home is, "We’re going to see your friends," and they instantly start jumping for joy and wagging their tails. They get so incredibly excited to go to daycare, which gives us total peace of mind. Dita and Zach treat them like family, and they always come home happily exhausted from a full day of playing. If you are looking for a place where your dogs will be genuinely loved and cared for whether it’s day or night, this is it.

Dita and Zack took such good care of our doggies. We were so nervous to go on vacation until I came across The Dog House at Edgewood. Dita sent multiple daily updates with pictures and videos of our dogs. I know they treated them so well. They had a HUGE fenced in backyard to run and play and got tons of snuggles. I will not hesitate to trust them with my dogs again on a future vacation.

I have a rescue beagle named Pete Best. We 150% LOVE Dita and Zach at the Dog House! I work long hours & unpredictable times and needed somewhere with flexibility. We are so happy to have found the Dog House! Pete is very social and loves to play and hang out. He also loves the treat line...LOL. I'm pretty sure he thinks he is invited to a party every time I drop him off. It is an added bonus that they frequently care for a pair of beagle brothers because Pete always loves to hang with beagles. Zach and Dita take such good care of Pete and are so professional and easy to work with. If I didn't have a retired pal that hangs with Pete at my home, he'd be at the Dog House most every day. They have a great big yard for him to play in, and they obviously love dogs. I have met Ian (from another review) and I can tell he feels right at home. I do appreciate all the pics and videos they send me of Pete. It always makes a long work day go faster to see what my spoiled beagle baby has been doing. They are also very patient with Pete considering he is highly food motivated and wants to eat their lunch and dinner and will never be "full."

LOVE leaving my golden retriever with Dita! She gives you daily updates and amazing pictures daily. I highly recommend Dita! Lolo loves it!
