Dog Tired Pet Services - Johns Island, SC

My golden retriever always leaves looking like a new doggie. She smells amazing! So fluffy, clean, and they always understand exactly how to trim a Goldens coat. We couldn't be happier.

We are very happy with dog tired. We have been using them for the past several years for grooming services. Michelle does a wonderful job. They are always thoughtful and ask your preferences for your dog’s service. We have also recently been using them for daycare and overnight boarding for our puppy. She loves her time at dog tired. She always comes home healthy and happy. Very fortunate to have them on the island.

My pup Moose loves Dog Tired!! They put pictures up everyday and he even made the cover photo. Somehow they are able to remember my dog and all of the other dogs that walk through the door and specifics about them. For example, I asked if Moose could do a bath, nail trim, and teeth cleaning the next time he is there (which was a week and a half later) and then when I took him in that day the very sweet check in person asked me without hesitation when I would be picking him up so they could time his spa day. They really know and love the dogs here. Another example, my pup pooped out something that looked like a mushroom to me (it wasn’t, total false alarm) but before I realized it wasn’t, I called them, they checked the yard twice and assured me they checked it every morning. I apologized when I realized I was incorrect and they were very kind in reassuring me it was no problem. Moose will keep going here until he inevitably stops leaving with me and moves in here. I assume they will put him to work at this point and I’ll have to come visit him at work. Anyway, 4 thumbs up.

Save the money.Extremely disappointed with the lack of service and experience at Dog Tired. My dog was kenneled all day for doggie day care with no free exercise space or freedom shared by employee. I requested nail trim. Forgot to trim, completely disappointment and disregard to detail. I will NEVER return, was told they are under staffed after the fact. I could have kenneled up my dog at home, trimmed his nails and save the money.

Our pup Monty has the best time at Dog Tired! We are given daily reports and any issues are delt with immediately. We always pick up a clean and happy boy and his enthusiasm when dropping off tells me everything I need to know.

Long time supporter of Dog Tired on John’s Island!!! We use their day camp, overnight boarding and salon services. Always kind && caring!! This week, we dropped off Vivienne for a spa day and she received the defuzz, mani/pedi and hind trim. She loved seeing her crew in the front office today ❤️❤️. I walked in one day to see if they would be willing to groom my Aussie, Cody, because he had a leg injury. I needed to get him groomed before surgery as he had a 2 month recovery time. Many people wouldn’t be willing to do so. They were happy to help! They were so kind to me and I left feeling great about FINALLY finding a good groomer in the area that showed compassion. When we arrived for the appointment the groomer (name escapes me at the moment) was so sweet to Cody. She was very thorough in finding out what I was looking for and attentive to his leg injury. She did a fantastic job with the grooming! I’m so thankful to them for the great experience and helping Cody prep for a tough surgery and long recovery. We will be back!
