Camp Bow Wow Lakewood South

We had such an amazing experience with Camp Bow Wow during our puppy’s interview process. From the beginning, everyone was beyond kind, welcoming, and transparent. We really appreciated how thorough the process was and how much communication we received through emails, texts, and phone calls, it made us feel so comfortable leaving our pup in their care. One of my favorite features is being able to check in on Precious through the webcams throughout the day. You can truly tell the employees care deeply about the dogs and take the time to make them feel safe and comfortable. I also love that the play areas are separated for big and little dogs, which gave me extra peace of mind for my shy puppy. Precious was definitely a little timid at first, but I already have a feeling this is going to become her favorite place every week. The pricing is also amazing because everything is included with no surprise add-ons or hidden fees. We purchased the first-day special package and honestly couldn’t love it more. So thankful to have found a place that genuinely treats dogs like family. Highly recommend!

I am very particular when it comes to who I leave my dog with. I take my dog to day care at camp bow wow bear creek weekly because after watching them a lot on camera I see that the staff is good with the dogs. There is no excessive use of spray bottles like I have seen at other companies. All the dogs are relatively calm in the yard. I also have had several conversations with staff about the training I am working on with my dog. They obviously are knowledgeable on the topic. When I bring my dog in, she is very excited to be there. When I pick my dog up, she is ready for a nap. The facility is very clean. It is true there is no out door play area but the indoor area has fresh air and is fine for my dog. (Probably safer). I’m glad I found this camp bow wow location. I am a " happy camper "🤣

Camp Bow Wow is great! I appreciated their initial application and meet process to determine if it’s a good and safe fit. We’ve been so happy with our experiences with over the past few years. The staff is very nice and professional, love that they have live cameras to check in during the day, and they even have seasonal activities for the dogs.

We dropped off our Rottweiler for a week over spring break. When we picked her up she was limping and over the next couple of days she developed a bad infection in both eyes, and currently has some type of mouth/skin issue we are still sorting out. This place is all indoors, overcrowded for it size, and clearly unsanitary. We will not be returning and I highly suggest somewhere else for an extended stay.

This dog camp is wonderful! My Bunny loves it there and I know she is loved and cared for and gives me comfort. Thank you staff for being so compassionate and caring. Nancy S

Update: I have a new dog that I started bringing here. He absolutely loves it! I had him sign up for pics with Santa. I love how happy it makes him to be at camp with his friends. Intuitive staff. Everyone was friendly and answered every question I had since I've never left my dog at a doggy day care before. Next time I go on vacation, I'm definitely bringing my little buddy here.

I have two dogs - one who can spend a chunk of time home alone (frankly, he prefers it), and one who absolutely cannot. The latter attends camp here two days a week when I'm in office, and she loves it! I can tell the staff love having her and everyone is so sweet, and I appreciate that when I pick her up I might get a story about the day, or they'll tell me about the other dogs she really likes to play with. Our other dog has attended occasionally when we know we're going to be out for too long during the day, and I think he's warming up to the idea thanks to this group. He used to head in with his tail tucked and spend the day on the sidelines, and now he's starting to play with the others. I feel great about leaving my dogs here when I need to!
