Dog Island City

I have been bringing my baby Dallae to dog island city for about two years now. Lidia was the only handler confident enough to take Dallae in. I struggled with reactivity towards other dogs. But immediately Dallae took a liking to Lidia and her team. I’ve boarded my dog with Lidia for the past two years now, for two weeks at a time (I’m sorry to my baby!). Lidia sends updates to me every day, which I appreciate greatly. When Dallae was on medication they administered the medication to her perfectly. Every picture I see, my dog is smiling and happy. Looking at Lidia with love. I worried a lot about leaving her with someone else, but I can rest easy knowing she’s in good hands. Dallae always comes back more well behaved, less anxious. They also do an excellent job with grooming. Everyone says she looks amazing after grooming, and I’ve never had any issues. Thank you dog island city!! We’re so lucky to have you.

We have boarded our pets at Dog Island City for several years now when leaving town and have always had a great experience, with the dogs coming home happy (and even eager to return)! Lidia and her staff are very diligent about periodically updating by text to show how the pups are doing.

Dog Island City has the best team of groomers- my pup always comes out looking handsome every time. They take such good care of him during the grooming sessions. He does not express any dread or fear of going. They also gifts us with cute handkerchiefs and ribbons depending on the season/holiday/occasion. We have nothing but compliments for this place! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to get their pups groomed in LIC!

I can see how much fun my fur baby has in DIC!🐶❤️ Everytime he had a daycare at Dog Island City, he goes to sleep right away when he's home, and I can see he had sooo much fun there!

We started taking our dog Betty here to be a part of Doggy Day Care when we are not home. Lidia and team have done a great job of working on Betty's socialization skills and she is always happy to go here. We have also used their boarding services and they have always made sure that Betty has everything that she needs. Highly recommend here to take care of your dog

My dog loves this place! We take her for daycare and it’s the only place in LIC that she doesn’t run away from when we walk by the door. Another perk is that no advance booking is needed, you can just show up the morning of and drop off your dog which we like because sometimes we’re not sure which days we’re working from the office. We also take her for grooming and she gets a cute cut everytime. They also tie her hair up in pigtails sometimes which is adorable!

The best grooming service ever!! I've recently moved into the area and i was a little afraid about taking my dogs to a new grooming place since one of my dogs suffer from separation anxiety & he usually comes out shaking after his appointments- but I have to say that i was very pleased to see them so happy after getting groomed. One can immediately tell that they take good care of the dogs. I can also say that the groomer does such an amazing job! their hair is soft and fluffy and i just love how perfect they come out! I highly recommend Dog Island City.
