Mel's Dog House

Mel’s Dog House is simply amazing! My two dogs, Alfie and Caylee (tripod) , absolutely love it here. Mel treats them like they’re her own, providing them with so much care, attention, and love. It’s such a comfort knowing they’re in the best hands when I’m away. I can’t recommend this place enough — if you’re looking for someone who truly goes above and beyond for your pets, Mel’s Dog House is the place to be!

Our pup loves coming here for his doggie day care! He loves going and seeing all his friends, and always comes home happy and tired. Mel is amazing, her communication is wonderful and her love of dogs is always very reassuring. Would highly recommend her and her business. So happy I found a place I feel comfortable bringing our baby to!

Our dog, an energetic wire haired pointing griffon named Cooper, goes to Mel’s routinely for daycare and has also been boarded several times. Cooper loves to play but has sometimes been overwhelmed socializing with other dogs. Melissa worked with him and now he loves going to daycare. When we tell him it’s a daycare day he plants himself in front on the door so he can’t be forgotten on the way to work! Melissa’s place has lots of wide open space for the dogs to run around and it’s surrounded by beautiful countryside. It’s the perfect spot for energetic pups to play! We’re grateful to have such a wonderful place to take Cooper to, where we know he is well cared for and having fun.

I take Lola here often! She loves it and is always ready for a nap after a long day of playing!

Mel is the BEST and always our first choice with dog boarding! This is her passion, and you can tell. She gives each dog such care and attention and makes sure each one is happy. My dog has been boarding with Mel since she was a puppy, and our dog, Molly, gets excited when we pull up to Mel's place. Molly leaves tired-happy from all of the fun, and she is not anxious at all. She has eaten well, which tells me she always feels super comfortable and safe there. Mel is a dog whisperer and one I can always trust to look out for my fur baby. Her facility is like a dog resort that is very secure with big play areas, water fun when it's hot, and plenty of shade, too. I can't say enough positive things about Mel and her boarding and dog daycare!!!

Mel was absolutely amazing. Our 6 month old puppy has never been boarded before and is nervous by nature. When we dropped her off it didn’t take 10 minutes and I was getting pictures from Mel showing how our puppy had began to join the pack. Absolutely beautiful property where the dogs stay. Our dog has found her home away from home. 10/10. Thank you for kindness and communication during the week that our pup was there. Mel communicated with us everyday with updates and pictures for our peace of mind. Can’t say enough good things about our experience. Thank you so much Mel!

Absolutely wonderful establishment! Extremely caring and enthusiastic owner who loves taking care of her pack of dogs here and is always happy to work more new dogs into the pack. Would never bring our pup anywhere else, she never wants to leave. So much room for the dogs to run and play with separate play fields. Melissa is always involved in the dogs activities and is very stimulating with play and training with the dogs. Look past any chain or normal commercial kennel, small farms like this is where dogs can stay and truly be a dog.
