We've had to board our dogs over a long period due to the Woolsey fire. Kathy and her team are so wonderful! They truly care and are compassionate and loving toward our dogs. Kathy was taking in chickens and all manner of other pets from evacuees during this catastrophe. She is a wonderful woman and this place is fantastic! Highly recommend!

I have been boarding my mouse Pikachu here during holidays and summers for almost two years now. Cathi and her staff are absolutely the BEST. Not only do they keep him clean and fed, they also go out of their way to play with him, teach him tricks and get him interesting treats and toys. He's a very social little guy so it puts my mind at rest to leave him with people who give him so much interaction and attention. This past winter his fur started thinning, which I assumed was a natural sign of aging...then I left him with Cathi over Xmas, and when I picked him up in the new year, all his fur had grown back and he looked young and fluffy again! Clearly he'd had the mouse equivalent of a spa vacation with her 🙂 Leave your pets with Cathi, she understands how much you love them and she will take care of them like they are her own.

We've been taking our cats (Fatty and The Girl AKA Pip and Squeek) to CBF for the past year and a half. Since they were kittens- they have been welcomed and treated like royalty. Kathy is always able to accommodate them both on short notice. The staff is attentive, personal and caring, professional. I'm thrilled and relieved to have such a great place to leave our pets while we travel.

Our kitty, Lois says, "Camp Best Friends is the cat's meow!" Everyone there is friendly and very professional. Lois needs her meds, and they're completely on top of it. When we drop her off, we leave comforted to know that she will be well taken care of! Thank you Cathy and staff! So glad you're there!!!

Boarded our anxiety prone pupper here on the recommendation of our DVM Behaviorist. I was a wreck leaving him. When we picked him up six days later he had clearly bonded with staff and even went back to give his primary caretaker a kiss after greeting us. It's a bit old fashioned looking, but they are equipped to tend to pets with both emotional and physical special needs. We usually take our doggo with us, but if I needed to board him again I would feel comfortable leaving him in their care.

There are plenty of expensive stuffy dog hotels in LA with fancy webcams of your pet and special gourmet food and web booking systems. This is not that, and I love them for it. They’re extremely flexible on booking and always so happy to see Zulu (as she is to see them!) as well as being extremely affordable! Highly recommended 🙂
