My dog Onyx loves going to doggy daycare at Clawington of Madison. He’s a Siberian husky and German Shepard mix. He attends twice a week and has so many dog friends and his socialization skills have improved tremendously. Everyone says they love him there! He’s only 8 months old but has been going since he was 3 months. We also have boarded him here on a few occasions and they are great with him. Highly recommended sending your dog here.

We just had the most amazing grooming session at Clawington. Victoria did exactly as I instructed in my notes! Our dog is a full bred miniature poodle, and it's been a while since he looked this sharp! I went ahead and booked her again 6 weeks out!

I’ve trusted Clawington with my pets for years for boarding, daycare, and grooming, and I’ve been consistently impressed. The staff is attentive, kind, and clearly cares about the animals in their care. No place is perfect, but what stands out to me is their willingness to listen and take action. When something isn’t quite right, they take it seriously and make it right. That level of accountability and care is rare, and it’s a big reason I continue to trust them. My pets are always happy, well cared for, and excited to go back, which says everything. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Clawington to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate place for their pets.

Clawington of Madison is the RIGHT daycare for my unique Pitbull mix, Hugo. He’s a combination of rambunctious & easily overstimulated, anxious, fearful & slow to acclimate, & a snuggle bug. The daycare staff have a special ability to understand him & work with him. They have gone above & beyond in reducing his anxiety & helping him to succeed in socializing & playing well with others, with their adaptive play sessions, & their knowledge of dog behavior & training. The front desk staff know every little detail about Hugo’s needs & are always on top of everything. They greet us every day with a smile & are always willing to go the extra mile for special requests. Above all, each & every one of the staff is very loving & supportive. How did Hugo get so lucky? I’m forever grateful! Felicia Prince is my Hugo’s hero. VP of Operations & resident dog whisperer, she is a dedicated professional with a keen, innate sense of dog behavior & a selfless desire to help. She is gentle & loving, while firm & guiding; calm, consistent, fearless & compassionate; respectful & understanding. She sets a high standard for herself & her staff. I have full confidence in her abilities & peace of mind in leaving my Hugo in her care every day. I deeply appreciate her invaluable support & guidance. ❤️

ETA We now have a sweet dog and he has been to doggie daycare a few times. We love the staff and how great they are with him! What a great place to have near home. Today I had an appointment to get my little tuxedo’s claws trimmed. We walked in and were greeted by Mercedes. She is so friendly and perfect for the front desk! Trey came out and gave me a cute photo holder in the shape of a bone. Thank you! Josh then took Cinder (the aforementioned tuxedo) to trim her claws and was done in about 5 minutes. Very professional! Oh! The new lobby is beautiful! 😍 Highly recommend. 👍🏼

We have boarded our dog here for the past couple of years, and unfortunately the quality of service has declined significantly while prices have continued to increase. When we first started coming here, the staff was polite, professional, and attentive, and the cost felt justified. Recently, however, the service has become disorganized and rude. After boarding our dog for two weeks, we were unable to pick her up on Sunday because we were told there was no staff available for pickups due to the holiday, forcing us to pay for two unnecessary extra boarding days just to retrieve her on Tuesday. Then when my husband arrived for pickup, despite the business advertising that it opens at 7 AM, the front desk employee rudely told him pickups were not allowed until 8 AM after being on the phone for a while, ignoring him and then made him and several other customers wait outside while also telling him to move the car for the daycare people to be able to drop off their dogs. She said they haven't done pickups until 8 AM for the last year, when we've boarded our dog twice before this and my husband has picked her up before 8 AM. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated issue. During a previous stay, I specifically requested five days of daycare for our dog with the front desk upon drop-off and was told it was noted, but the request was apparently never communicated, resulting in our 65 lb dog spending nearly five days boarded without daycare. We were also previously charged for an extra daycare day we didn’t use on another previous visit. It’s unfortunate because there are still a couple of wonderful employees here who clearly care about the animals, but after repeated mistakes, poor communication, and increasingly unprofessional service, we will likely be boarding our dog elsewhere moving forward.
