We couldn’t be happier with Maisie’s daycare experience! The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and clearly loves what they do. Every time we drop her off, Maisie is so excited - she runs in with her tail wagging, and she always comes home happy (and tired—in the best way!). Communication is great, and I always feel confident that she’s in good hands. It’s such a relief to have a place where she’s not only well cared for, but genuinely excited to go. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving daycare for their pup!

I couldn't ask for a better daycare for my dachshund, Clover. North Paw was recommended to me by the lovely ladies at Bad Dog Frida, and I'm glad they did! There are also many other dachshunds at North Paw, which I love 🙂 Laura is so professional, friendly, and communicative, and the rest of the staff are fantastic as well. I love that they give you a tour of the daycare and want to meet your dog beforehand to ensure it will be a good fit for both your dog and the current daycare dogs. They genuinely care about the well-being of the dogs and want them to have fun, but above all else, they want them to be safe. Laura also goes above and beyond to make sure the daycare is clean every single day. Clover has made many pup friends and bonds with the staff at North Paw. We recently moved from Madison to Sun Prairie, but I will still be taking Clover to North Paw, as I wouldn't want her to go anywhere else. Thank you again, Laura and team, for everything you do!!!

My name is Cosmo and I am a little at North Paw. Laura and her staff are like a second family to me. I have been going to daycare there for 3 years now and it is my home away from home. I have so many fur friends that I get to play with in the big outside yard. Laura has fun ramps and structures for us to climb up and run on. The other staff members play with us too! If it is rainy or cold we get to play inside with lots of toys and sometimes even a ball pit! Laura sends pictures of me playing to my human when I am there during the day. My mom really likes that! I get my nails trimmed there because Laura does a great job making them smooth and not scratchy like other places. In the afternoon we all go to take naps. My mom is amazed that we all sleep at the same time and by each other. When my mom goes away I get to spend a few nights there and I am cozy and relaxed in my space sleeping at night. I am so happy my mom found North Paw and Laura!

I recently adopted a 5 month (now 7 month - time flies!) old puppy from Underdog Pet Rescue. I'm a new puppy owner and I've been doing my due diligence to make sure Copper has the proper training, care and socialization. One of my good friends who is a trainer at Dog's Best Friend recommended North Paw to me, because, as is their slogan, they specialize in littles! She also added that Laura (the owner) is very intentional about the dogs they allow in the daycare and there are much smaller playgroups than most other daycares. They also provide thoughtful enrichment like puzzles during the day. I believe they're the only daycare with a flexible drop-off (6-9am) and pick-up (3-6pm) as well, which is so nice, especially for those of us with variable schedules (and who aren't the biggest morning people). Copper loves North Paw and going here regularly has undoubtedly contributed immensely to his positive socialization - along with training that Copper and I do together, he has really come out of his shell and become so much more at ease around other dogs and people. I wanted a daycare for Scout twice a week plus sometimes when life gets busy away from home. The 20 day package works great for me as I can plan ahead and count on Scout being cared for in my absence. He loves his buddies at daycare and I love the fact that he is being cared for by loving professionals. Laura communicates very well and has a good daily schedule for the dogs. Hurray for North Paw!

Our mini poodle, Bunny, has been going to North Paw weekly for several months now. I can't overstate how wonderful this facility is. Laura, the owner, is very hands on day to day and is also very careful and thorough with her interview process to make sure each dog is a great fit for the environment (for their own safety as well as that of all the other dogs and humans). Our pup is more excited than I have ever seen her when pulling into the parking lot at North Paw and quite literally drags me through the door. She can't get there fast enough! We love seeing pictures of her happily running around and playing with her friends. The amount of transparency Laura and her team have is very reassuring to a pet parent who has had some less safe-feeling experiences with pet carers in the past. I truly believe that every employee treats each dog with the same level of love and care as they would their own pet. I'm thrilled we have a place like this in Madison and hope our dog gets to come here the rest of her hopefully very long life! My dog went here for years before we were blindsided with a call saying she was too anxious to come back. Every visit was great, we received pics and videos of our dog playing. Even the debriefs during pick up were always "she had a great day!" Laura was always helpful with tips and tricks when we asked questions. One day we received a call stating our dog was too anxious to come back and towards the end of the conversation it also came down to us not committing to her going every week. Comments were made that other families have weekly commitments. I was left confused if my dog really did have anxiety even though we were getting videos and great feedback during pick up or if it was money related. Disappointed because this is the only place that is geared for small dogs. I wanted to support them and we were customers from the beginning.
