Hillcrest Kennel and Grooming

I called relatively last minute for boarding. My original sitter canceled and I was scrambling to find a good boarding place for my young pup. They were very accommodating and kind and even gave my pup a boost in confidence. I would definitely recommend them and will use them for future trips.

I took my very anxious 4 month old puppy here for his first hair cut and the staff was so sweet and patient with him. They did everything they could to make him feel comfortable and have a positive experience associated with being groomed. Not to mention he got the cutest cut ever and the staff gave me tips on how to better care for his coat. I would highly recommend Hillcrest to anyone needing grooming services.

Way Overpriced and do not listen carefully on instructions. My dog was matted bad a few days after picking him up there. I called to explain that he was matted and they wanted to charge me for a cut. My two dogs also both got horrible ear infections last time and the facility is VERY dirty and disorganized. I won’t be taking my dogs back.

I’ll start by saying, I have been bringing my little guy here since he was a puppy. They have always done a really good job with his cut and up until now, I have been pretty pleased with their services. Now this last grooming appointment are when things took a horrifying turn for the worst. I was informed by the groomer that my dog had fallen off of the grooming table and hit his eye. In actuality, my dog fell from the grooming table and was hanging. My dog was being strangled because of the negligence of the groomer stepping away from that grooming table while my little guy was still up there. Blood had pulled into his beautiful brown eye because he popped a blood vessel in his eye from strangulation. Also, I was not notified about any of this until my mother went to pick my dog up from his appointment. In which they still proceeded to charge me for the service. I was so angry that they actually charged me for this service after harming my dog. They did issue a refund but my dog was just not himself after this happened. I will never bring him here again. Very doggy people, dog whisperers! I have had two difficult dogs and they have no problem with them. Now I have an easy dog and she loves going.

My pup looked very nice after grooming. Jordan did a great job. Hes never looked that good after grooming with other groomers we've used. The only thing that could be better is the shampoo?? He smelled very doggy and musty. He never smells like that. He is bathed often so not sure how he smelled like that after grooming. Otherwise great place will use again.

This was an amazing experience. My first visit but won't be my last. They did an amazing job on both my fur babies and one of them was a whole hand full! They were patient and caring. If you need anything grooming done this is the place to go. I won't be taking my babies anywhere else for sure
