The Dog Spot

I have always had a great experience with The Dog Spot since moving here to Nashville. Both of my dogs seem to really like the staff and service here since they get really excited each time we drop them off! The manager (Nikki) and her team have a great setup and I'm so thankful for them and how kind they are to our fur babies. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for daycare and/or boarding services in the Nashville area!

We boarded our two dogs here for the first time and had a great experience. Our older dog has some separation anxiety but the team at The Dog Spot gave some great suggestions to help. In addition they went above and beyond in their communication during his stay. We felt fully informed and comfortable knowing the team truly cared. They really treat your dogs as family here. We will definitely be back in the future for our boarding needs.

I would rate lower if possible. I came in to give my new rescue dog a bath (NOT groomed) with an 8:30 AM appointment scheduled earlier that week. They boarded him for 5 hours before seeing him, even though he was supposedly "second" on the list. I specifically had called days before asking for advice regarding how I could get him seen as soon as possible in the day because of his anxiety. And they said to leave him with a specific groomer because they would see him first. And after 5.5 hours of waiting to pick him up, they did not even call me when he was ready, even though they TOLD me they would call me, twice. They only sent an e-mail to me saying he was ready an hour after I had picked him up myself. They also persuaded me to leave a tip before I could even see my dog to assess the work they've done. Paid $100 + tip for a bath I could have done myself. My dog is pretty traumatized afterward. Would not recommend.

While I love The Dog Spot and they’ve always done a great job on my dog’s grooming, she always comes home so thirsty and needs to pee so bad. I addressed them about whether or not they have water for her and take her out, and the girl at the front desk said "we try but sometimes we get busy." I’m not one to complain but this seems like the most basic ask when I leave my dog with you all day. Hoping this review challenges them to be better in this way!

I highly recommend the dog spot for grooming services!! I brought in my pup, Milo who is usually very timid and anxious when going to get groomed or the vet. Natalie, the groomer was very patient, understanding, listened to what I wanted on his groom and even offered recommendations before bringing him back. When I came to pick him up I could tell that Natalie took great care of him. Not only was his haircut perfect and what I wanted but he warmed up to her and was starting to be playful and take treats from her. Natalie seems to be very experienced and professional and will now be going to her. They are also reasonably priced compared to other places and it is very easy to book and not booked up for months which I appreciate.

Natalie did such a fantastic job on our Golden Retriever! He can be a lot to handle, and she made him look absolutely perfect. His coat is so soft, perfectly trimmed, and you can tell she really took her time and cared about the details. He came home happy, clean, and smelling amazing. It’s clear she genuinely loves what she does and treats the dogs so well.

We all love the DOG spot and so do our little gremlin Palmerian's! Pepe La Pue can be a bit Fresh but he loves the treatment and is always good. Its really hard to find passionate people as passionate and loving as we are with our dogs! This is the SOPT to go! The staff is amazing and we love them. We have all become good friends and will continue to go there. Trust me we are very critical of groomers, we have no stress what so ever in sending our Dogs there. If you are looking for the best with very reasonable pricing this is the only place to go!
