Tails of Manhattan

I absolutely love this doggy daycare! The staff is incredibly kind, gentle, and attentive—they clearly care deeply about every pup that comes through the door. They do an amazing job with the dogs, making sure they feel safe, happy, and engaged throughout the day. The facility is spotless and well-organized, and you can tell how seriously they take cleanliness and safety. Everyone who works there is not only super friendly, but also really on top of things and always alert. I feel completely at ease leaving my dog here, and I’m so grateful to have found a place I trust this much. Highly recommend!

This is hands down the best doggy daycare, and it has made the whole experience of getting a puppy so much easier!!!!! The staff are incredibly warm, welcoming, and accommodating. They genuinely care about every pup, and my Wilson is always so happy after each visit. As first-time dog owners in New York City, our journey would have been so much harder without Tails of Manhattan. We’re so grateful to the entire team. Bring your dog here—you won’t regret it. Worth every penny!!!!! He also loves being boarded here and having sleepovers with all his friends!

As a new dog mom, I was very worried about leaving my puppy at home. Everyone is loving and kind to her. She is always so excited to go and socialize. I am able to check in on her and watch her play using the cameras if I get curious. We love this place.

The best doggie daycare and boarding center! My dog gets excited at the mention of the word daycare and practically pulls me down the street to get there faster. She loves all of the wonderful caretakers there, but shout out to Jo -- I think she's the favorite because my dog even starts getting excited when I say her name! They are great with communication and have previously contacted me immediately upon finding a skin infection on my dog's belly. I was nervous about daycare at first and they even sent me a pupdate when she first started going to reassure me that she was having the best time. Lucy gives Tails of Manhattan two paws up!

The best! The play room is spacious and well designed, with alcove areas for dogs to relax alone if they want, and also a turf area. Staff does a great job of carefully introducing each dog to the play area to ensure it’s a safe entrance and the dogs don’t crowd / overwhelm the new dog. Good dog to staff ratio and very clean. The staff clearly care a lot and will make suggestions for your particular dog ("he’s very active when he’s here, do you want to pack him a lunch?"). For boarding there is a staff member that sleeps downstairs on a cot in a large open room with the dogs— our dog loves to snuggle up with them since this is how he sleeps at home in our bed. Communication is flawless and logistics are easy too. Honestly I wish they took humans, I’d go!
