Primo Dog

I am visiting the area and I have my girl Matilda. She has a lot of energy and loves to play. I take her for walks and she still needs a bit more of running and playing. I have taken her here a couple of times and when I pick her up, she seems to be a very happy girl. From the first day that I took Matilda, the Staff were all so nice and kind and listened to my needs as well as Matilda’s needs. So thankful that you are in the area and that you take such good care of our fur babies. I am going to be boarding her for a few days here and there. It seems to me that you have all the wants and needs that I could think of. Thank you for making me feel comfortable about leaving her with you. They have a pool in the shape of a dog bone and plenty of outside for them to play.♥️

Don’t bring your dog here! Today, within 2 minutes of dropping my 40lb labradoodle off, an employee repeatedly hit him with a large board because he was pacing and whining, a completely normal anxious behavior for a dog who just got left somewhere new. He wasn’t aggressive, wasn’t a threat to anyone, he just wanted comfort. Every time he ran toward the gate (because he was scared), the employee grabbed him by the collar and choked/dragged him across the entire yard, hard enough that I was worried about his throat. And then would hit or jab him with the board, over and over. I watched the entire thing happen live on their own camera feed and ran back in to grab him immediately. Luckily I was still in the parking lot. The manager texted me afterward, "apologizing" and offering "one free day of daycare." When I pushed for answers, she refused to send me the footage, refused to tell me what action (if any) was taken, and refused to confirm whether this employee is still working there. However, I could see on the cameras that they were still working the rest of their shift after abusing a dog. Not once did she show any concern for how my dog was doing, she only cared about losing money. Do not trust this place with your fur baby!

We have been boarding with Primo Dog for some time now when we travel and I have nothing but great things to say about their entire staff. They always accommodate our pup and last minute business trips, and are always willing to work with us. All of the staff genuinely cares about the dogs there and pay a great level of care and attention if they require additional medications or care. They take great care of our girl while we are gone and she is always excited to get there and is always happy after her stay there. Thank you to the entire team at Primo Dog in Niceville, y’all are truly the best.

We recently boarded our small terrier mix at Primo while we were on a two week vacation. We were a bit anxious about it, as it was her first time being boarded and she isn't normally great with bigger dogs, but Primo was amazing. The staff is attentive and caring, the facilities are clean and spacious, and the cameras let us check in whenever they were out during the day. Worth every penny, we'll be using them again in the future.

I cannot express how impressed I am with this facility. The staff is amazing, and they went above and beyond with my rescue "Bow" who was boarded for two days -- even taking the time to text me updates and photos! Bow has social anxiety and adjustment issues that are common with rescues, but when I picked her up, she was like a different dog. She was happy, playful and was obviously treated like a princess. Thanks to everyone at Primo!!!!

We were visiting the area and needed to put our cutie into daycare for the day. They were flexible, professional and courteous. After contacting another place, I am so glad we called Primo. Even though it was Saturday morning, they were able to accommodate. With cameras all around which we were able to view online, we were able to check in while at lunch with my grandmother. Cocoa obviously had the time of his life and we enjoyed our visit with grandma. Thank you Primo, we will definitely use your services in the future!

My dogo is my family and this is the only place I trust with my family. Nico is very kind caring compassionate but also smart girl who has loved my dogo as if it was her own. I never worry when I drop my dog off and sometimes I think they are sad to leave when I pick them up. Highly recommend this businesses and Mathew and Stephen are also top notch.
