Bittersweet Pet Resorts

We boarded our doodles for 4 nights and this was a wonderful experience. They treated our pups like they were special. We received report cards and pictures every day and I think Kevin and Henry had a better time than we did on vacation. We will definitely board there again and highly recommend the Kalamazoo location.

We just started taking Bruno to daycare at the Niles location. The caregivers are helpful, friendly and you can tell they love animals. Bruno is 6 and we have never had to board him. He is non social and we were hoping they could get him to be more social and eventually play with other dogs. So far they are doing a great job. We are so happy to have found a great place. We took our other dogs (before Bruno) to a place in Granger that was horrible. When your dog is scared to go back, there’s something wrong. He loves to go to Bittersweet. That tells us, they do good. Highly recommend..

We started taking our giant schnauzer Adelaide to Bittersweet last year to help socialize her as part of her puppy training. These photos are what we received while she was in their care and we always love seeing how she's doing while we're away. Our goofy pup gets excited to see new dogs when we drop her off and has been coming back from playtime/boarding ready to take a nap. The staff members have been very accommodating and keep us updated on anything that comes up during her stay. I recommend them for helping socialize your pup and for when you need special care for boarding.

We boarded our Corgi, while we were on vacation using the All Star package for 10 days. Excellent daily reports with pictures and observations that let us know our dog was content and happy. She really loved the activity room.

Love this place. The term pet resort does not do it justice. The fur babies are treated like members of their own family. They were willing to work with one of my dogs who takes time to let people close, unlike other pet lodging in the area. My three dogs get so excited when we pull up to the resort. We only trust our dogs with Bittersweet Pet Resort!

I can’t say enough great things about Bittersweet Pet Resort and the care they provided for my dog, Jackpot. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the staff truly love what they do. They treated Jackpot like family — not just another pet passing through. The facility is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed to make dogs feel comfortable and safe. Jackpot was a little shy at first, but the team gave him the attention, patience, and affection he needed to settle in and enjoy himself. I received updates during his stay, which really gave me peace of mind and let me relax knowing he was in such good hands. Thank you 👍🏼😎

Millo had the best time at Bittersweet for boarding! He was so tired when he came home. We paid extra for the daily pictures and report card but it was so worth it. He looked so happy during playtime! We also got him groomed on the last day so that was lovey. He can’t wait to go back!
