Absolutely Hands Down, the Best Dog Care in Omaha! We can’t say enough great things about Specialized Pet Services and the owner, John! From the very first interaction, John was so easy to work with—professional, kind, and clearly passionate about animals. His rates are very affordable, especially considering the level of personalized care our dogs receive. We recently took a long trip and felt completely comfortable leaving our dogs in John’s care. When we picked them up, they were happy, clean, and clearly well loved—a total 180 from our past experiences with big chain facilities where our dogs would come home stressed, stinky, and off their routine for days. At John’s place, the dogs have an amazing area to play, exercise, and get plenty of fresh air. They even get to safely socialize with John’s own dogs, who are just as friendly and well cared for. Everything is spotless, secure, and thoughtfully managed, giving us complete peace of mind every time we leave them there. We truly won’t use anyone but John for boarding ever again. He’s the best-kept secret in Omaha pet care—and we’re so grateful to have found him! Hazel and Sadie are pretty happy about it as well!

I have used Specialized Pet Services several times, over the last few years. Most recently "Charlie" stayed there over a long week-end this month. The scheduling, and quick responses to questions (I might have a spoiled dog🐾) are very appreciated. The home setting is a better match for my dog than other kennels, and Charlie goes willingly with John each time - that is the most important to me!!

I will not take my pups anywhere else. John is wonderful! Great communication, a home environment, and I know they will be well taken care. They get so excited that they don't even look back when we drop them off. 🙂 Look at these happy pups!

John does an excellent job taking care of our 13 year old Chihuahua Pepper! His home is clean and well taken care of and his care for Pepper is astounding. We don't worry about our fur baby when we are out of town, we know he is in great hands.

John is very kind and personable! I don’t usually leave my little Lucia with just anyone, as she is like my baby, but she’s in good hands with John. I highly recommend him. He even sent us pictures of Lucia while we were on vacation. We will definitely continue to use his dog-sitting services!

I was so pleased to find Specialized Pet Services! This is in a private home with a fenced backyard in a quiet midtown neighborhood. For my high energy 2-year old boxer, who wants to be with me every minute of the day, it is a perfect place for him when I need to be ‘dogless.’ He is very comfortable there for both day care and overnights. When we arrive, John greets us with a smile and a warm welcome. As they head inside, I watch my pup’s tail wiggle happily - a sure sign of a great place.

Specialized Pet Services is exceptional! I've been bringing my pup, Fritz, to John for years and I couldn't be more pleased with the care and attention John gives Fritz. He has a wonderful backyard where pups can run and play. John is always very responsive and accommodating. We'll always go to Specialized Pet Services for our daycare and boarding needs!
