Camp Bow Wow

My dogs were boarded for months at Camp Bow Wow on Babcock I cannot say enough good things about Ann and her staff. We had an unfortunate death in our family. We needed to find a place that we could bring our pets to live. We got them this evening. Lucas and Sara are clean, healthy, and smiling! We will bring them back for playtime and visits. I am now cuddling with my pups! ❤️🙏🏼

We cannot say enough about Camp Bow Wow, the team are amazing and so very kind to our pup and to us. The pictures we get from his enrichment sessions are the cutest ever.

Absolutely love this place and the folks that work there! They knew my dog’s name before they knew mine; also he obviously has his own greetings with individual "camp counselors". The two photos give you an idea of my dog’s experience at Camp Bow Wow North: the passed out pooch is after his first day at Camp (and pretty much after any day there); the other was taken by one of the trainers of the other resident with my dog after a private training session while he was an overnight camper when I needed to travel for a week.

I take King here whenever he is not able to travel with us. The employees are always accommodating to his needs. I love that they have cameras on the dogs, so I can see my pup whenever I miss him.

I always have a great experience at Camp Bow wow on Babcock rd. My dog Harper comes in for daycare every Wednesday and I know she is in good hands. The counselors are all wonderful to her and send me the cutest pictures. I love watching her on the cameras playing with her friends and soaking up the sun outside. Bonus she comes home exhausted!

These people treat your pup like thier own! My Goldendoodle loves coming to play and they do the cutest enrichment activities like painting with your pup, holiday pictures, sniff and seek and extra snuggle time! 💕 I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow Pittsburgh North! Also the grooming is top notch as well!

We boarded our pup hear for 4 days, after hearing great things and having a good "interview" day experience. Overall, it was OK, but I definitely have some concerns after our experience and watching cameras. -Boarding does not cover the following day's full day of daycare - checkout is at 11AM, which we only found out about after looking on their website for different information. -We were asked upon check-in if we wanted a coming home bath or nail trim. I mixed it up with another place we looked at that offered this complimentary, but we were not told that this would be an additional charge and only found out by looking at our reservation on the app. -On Saturday, dogs were not out until roughly 10AM - I understand getting everyone fed and resting to prevent bloat takes some time, but this seemed late. -Staff rarely interact with dogs at all. I saw maybe 1-2 employees the entire time interact with the dogs, the rest were talking across fences with other employees or on their cell phones. -Our dog was mounted several times, with no movement to disrupt the behavior from the employee. -We saw several other dogs mounted, including one we believe was penetrated, and the only action taken was to use a squirt bottle at the direction of the dogs (if you aren't familiar, this is a terrible correction in a daycare setting, and can escalate situations amongst dogs). Overall, staff seemed rushed, didn't communicate clearly, and the "counselors" didn't seem to be for anything other than a body in the space. While the price is reasonable and the play yards are nice enough, there were enough red flags that I don't see us using their services again.
