Bliss Pet Resort

Our Great Pyrenees gets excited when it’s time to go to Bliss. The staff are always friendly and professional, responsive to our questions and requests, and knowledgeable about the different breeds and canine behavior. Most importantly the staff members do a great job of genuinely caring for our very special, 130 lb. dog. He is always has a good experience at Bliss Pet Resort.

We recently moved from the East Coast to Texas and were honestly very nervous about finding a new place to board our dog. He is a rescue and very shy, and really only feels comfortable with our immediate family. Being away from home has always been stressful for him. We had been using the same boarding place for over 10 years back on the East Coast, and even there, every stay made us worry. So leaving him for over 10 days while we traveled overseas felt like a big risk. This place completely changed that for us. After a few visits, we could already see a difference. He started to feel more comfortable, which is not something we see easily with him. The team sent regular updates with photos, and we could tell right away that he was relaxed, eating well, and settling in. That peace of mind meant everything. It is clear they truly care and pay attention to each dog, especially ones that need a little extra patience. We feel very grateful to have found this place and finally feel comfortable leaving him in someone else’s care. Could not be happier and would highly recommend to anyone who is trying to find a trustworthy boarding place.

Had my dog stay with them for a week while on vacation and he came back relaxed and happy! The staff are obviously very caring people and they took such great care of him. We will definitely be returning! Thanks from Mylo and I!

We love Bliss! The staff is very friendly and they always take such good care of our pup, both in boarding and when he comes for daycare (which is often...he loves it). The price is reasonable, especially when you consider the peace of mind you have when your dog is being well cared for and loved. Highly recommend!!

Love Bliss Pet Resort for all of our dogs needs from boarding to grooming. The icing on the cake is the swimming he's able to do when there. Highly recommend Bliss!!!!

Unfortunately, our experience at Bliss Pet Resort fell short of expectations. When I initially called to schedule a drop-off evaluation, I spoke with a young man who was polite and helpful. However, when I arrived the next day, there was no record of our appointment, and I was told our vaccination records weren’t updated—despite me emailing them the prior day. The staff member at the front desk was dismissive and rude, repeatedly blaming the situation on the person who took my call by saying, "He just fills in—he was wrong." I reminded her that he was still their employee, and that this miscommunication shouldn’t be made my problem. To make matters worse, I was charged $70 for what was supposed to be a trial evaluation. It was never made clear to me that I’d be paying for the evaluation, so that was an unexpected charge. We left our dogs there for three days while we were on vacation. I scheduled pickup for 3 PM, but when I arrived, our golden retriever was still being bathed. I was told the pickup was scheduled for 6 PM, yet again implying the mistake was mine—despite clear communication on my end. It’s disappointing to deal with this level of disorganization and poor customer service, especially when entrusting your pets to someone else’s care. I hope they improve their communication internally and take more responsibility for their team’s errors moving forward.

This place is amazing! I took my dog, Lola, there for the first time. We have never tried daycare before but our other dog passed in May and Lola needed some interaction while I'm at work. The staff was great and kept me updated throughout the day. The have cameras which I loved because I got to see her running around and playing with other dogs. Lola came home with a huge smile on her face and can't wait to go back!
