Sniffers Doggie Retreat & Training Center

So far, so good!!! They really love and respect the dogs and paws parents here. Very friendly and organized! They accommodate with grace and intention. So far, so good! Like other facilities, they don't provide updates on the individual dogs after the observation period ends. But, they will respond if you ask. She likes to rest once she gets home which is always a good sign. Ps. The video posted isn't really her but she does dance with me. 😆

Very nice staff. The staff knew who my dogs were and how they did with boarding. Very honest with that information. At no extra cost they allow your dog to have three play days before their first stay and a bath before they come home. Highly recommend.

I work VetMed so I have really high standards and criteria of care. I work at a fear free vet. Sniffers has been doing enrichment with my dog for about 9 months now, only 1x a week due to budget at this time, but the difference in him is amazing. He comes home satisfied, tired, happy, and excited to go back. The staff is always friendly and never have that look like they don’t want to be there or don’t like it there which I’ve experienced other places. My dog gets enrichment, which includes training, individual play, and treadmill exercises, so it’s a great place for group play but also if you have a more reactive pup that can’t always play with others. The manager Cate is the best. I highly recommend them. You save a lot with their package deals too!

Was told to pack my dog’s breakfast for the training sessions. Several weeks later, the staff told me that I did not need to bring any more food because they had "too much" of her food leftover from previous weeks. They did not feed my dog her entire breakfast, and did not tell me upon pickup so that I could give her a larger dinner to compensate for the missed calories. This was when she was a seven month old growing puppy; they could have at minimum informed me that she didn’t receive half of her caloric needs for the day. Would also frequently come home smelling like urine, but we had never had issues with house breaking. I suspect that she was not let out at regular intervals.

Sniffers is a wonderful place. Unfortunately my pup isn’t able to use the day care options due to his "herding" tendencies. Yet that should let others know they are very careful about the pups they let in so it is a safe environment for your dog. The offered other options and were very reassuring.

Sniffers is the best. They have fun activities for the dogs that are thoughtful and sweet, and we specifically drive to it when there are other doggie daycares closer to our home because the staff is so caring and loves our dog like he’s their own.

We started with puppy day training at Sniffers and then moved into enrichment day care. Everyone who works there is so friendly and caring, and my dog gets excited every time we walk in. They greet him by name and then whisk him away for a day of fun so that I can go to work to support his lifestyle. (Want proof… see photos for before daycare and after!
