I met Rachel when I needed a dog sitter for my dog, George (a 4 yr old Goldendoodle) last summer and I knew instantly she really knew her stuff about dogs and took their safety and well-being very seriously. Rachel took great care of George while we were away on vacation. Since then, I’ve been bringing George to Healthy Hounds for a year for weekly playgroups. He absolutely LOVES it. I completely took for granted how social and pack-oriented dogs are. I really feel like the playgroups make his life more fulfilling. He’s happier, relaxed and exercised afterward which helps our family routine, and most of all he loves Rachel and all his dog friends. I highly recommend Healthy Hounds as a great choice for dog daycare and boarding!

My boyfriend and I both work early morning jobs, so finding the right place for our hyperactive pup to burn off energy was really important to us. Leon can be very selective with people, but he took to Rachel immediately when meeting her, and we knew right away this was going to be the perfect fit. On his very first day, we received pictures, texts, updates, and quick responses throughout the day, which made us feel so comfortable and reassured. You can genuinely tell how much care and attention goes into what Rachel does. We are beyond thrilled that we found Rachel and Healthy Hounds while searching for the right place for Leon. It’s such a relief knowing he’s somewhere safe, caring, and understanding of his needs.

We have been sending our 2 year-old pup to Healthy Hounds for a few months now and we couldn't be happier. Rachel is a true dog lover and it shows in her connection and dedication to the dogs in her care. Hopper has made many new friends and looks forward to seeing Rachel and the other dogs. We quickly became comfortable with the care to the point where we have also used Rachel frequently for boarding and we know that Hopper is always in good hands.

We started going to Healthy Hounds a few months ago. Within 2 visits it has become the highlight of our pup Cleo's day, she cannot get in the car fast enough in the morning. We send her almost 5 days a week and every day she comes home happy and exhausted. Rachel is extremely considerate of making sure the right dogs spend time together and is always responsive to a text. Throughout the day Rachel sends us photos of Cleo and her "cousins" having a ball together and we love to see them! We would absolutely recommend Healthy Hounds to anyone with a puppy who needs socialization or even just for any dog to get some (intense) exercise.

Would highly recommend Healthy Hounds, Rachel is terrific with the dogs and of course my dog Beans! He can’t wait to get there every morning and see his buddies. He loves it!! My dog Beau has been going to Healthy Hounds for over a year now and loves it! Rachel does such a great job not only loving and caring for the dogs, but also ensuring the safety and compatibility of them within their playgroups. Hosting multiple playgroups, she makes sure that dogs play well and equally together. And while I’m a little offended at how happy Beau is to go to playgroup and reluctant to come home, I am so happy to have found a place where he can play his little heart out and come home to sleep the rest of the day.

My dog has been going to Healthy Hounds for a few months now and has greatly benefited from her time here! Rachel treats the dogs like her own and makes sure to keep communications with us while my dog is there so we know she is happy, safe, and having fun.
