North Star Animal Center

Thank you, North Star Animal Center, for taking such wonderful care of my Lulu while I was away! It gave me such peace of mind knowing she was being looked after by professional and friendly staff. She also got a grooming and nail trim before I picked her up, she looks so happy and fluffy! 🥹😍 The facility was spotless, and I really appreciated the photo updates while I was gone. I’ll definitely be bringing Lulu back next time I travel!

I’ve been taking my dog here for over4 years and I love their attention and care to my dog. Seriously they really take care to my dog. Shes a staple there and loves the staff! When we leave she’s sad and wants to run back inside. Noelle will take care of you beyond your expectations at the front desk and the techs are extremely determined in their tasks. I’ve recently brought a puppy addition to our family there and she loves it already!

I had a wonderful experience with North Star Animal Center! The staff is caring, professional, and truly loves animals. My dog was happy, well-groomed, and clearly enjoyed the stay. The facility is clean, safe, and well-organized, and they keep you updated, which gives great peace of mind. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for reliable and loving pet care!

Jasmine is soooo good with my baby. She can be very shy, timid, and talkative (Shih Tzu). Jasmine is always so light hearted & takes very good care of my girl during her groom. The front desk receptionists’ are also so sweet & helpful.

We boarded our 4 dogs at North Star Animal Center and could not be happier with the experience! Lissa (the General Manager) and her staff were incredible. Receiving photos and updates from the team onsite was such a huge relief for us, to know that all four of our dogs were in good hands. This was our first time boarding them here and it will not be our last! Very pleased with the whole experience.

Customer service we good, price was fair, experience was bad. My family travels frequently. We use boarding services often. After moving to San Antonio, we used them only to have our dogs returned to us covered and reeking of urine. We've NEVER had our dogs returned to us in that fashion. And when asked why they smelled so badly, we were told "oh, because they were playing." Like what? Then she proceeds to explain how we can always call ahead and have them wash our dogs prior to pick up for $60 each. Yea, OK. Idk if they weren't taking the dogs out or what happened but it was a horrible 1st impression and we definitely won't be using them again.

I found myself in desperate need of my 3 cats needing somewhere to be for a day. Specifically, the next day. I was so worried I wouldn't be able to find affordable accommodations. I called and left a message and was called back just minutes later. Arrangements were made and I was at ease. I was even more at ease when I arrived and saw the place and met the staff. They were friendly, helpful, and good with my cats. I also like their price transparency on their website. If I ever need a cat daycare / boarding, I'm going back here.
