Fon Jon Dog Boarding and Daycare of San Diego

We had a great experience with Fon’s Canines two-week board and train program for our dogs. One of the trainers, Laurie, kept us updated with pictures, videos, and progress reports, which gave us peace of mind knowing our pups were doing well. We especially appreciated that the first day focused on fun and bonding with Ricky, the trainer, to help build trust before the official training began. Even though the program was structured, our dogs were treated with great care. One of our dogs has severe hip dysplasia, and the trainers were very mindful of her limitations and adjusted accordingly. The results have been amazing — our dogs no longer pull, and walks are so much more enjoyable. The trainer also took time to thoroughly explain the techniques to us. We have already used two hours of the four follow-up hour sessions included with the program, with Ricky, in our home, and it was incredibly helpful. We look forward to the remaining sessions. Overall, very friendly staff, great communication, and it’s clear they truly care about the dogs in their care. Highly recommend Fon Jon’s!

Fon Jon is the best! We were extremely nervous as first time puppy parents and every employee at Fon Jon helped ease our concerns. I have not met an employee there who was not kind and who didn’t seem excited to be there. Our puppy Willow absolutely loves Fon Jon and we love how tired she is when she gets home! This was our dog Willow on her very first day at daycare. I think it speaks for itself! Thank you to the amazing staff.

I have been taking my fur babies to Fon Jon for over 17 years and there is no one else I trust with them. The staff is so wonderful and not only really care/love/understand the pups but also me and my life. I have recommended Fon Jon to many friends, who also love it there. I work from home and need to travel sometimes, so my pups go to daycare to play every day and are boarded there when I need to be out of town. Thank you Fon Jon for everything you do!

Fon Jon Pet Care & Man K9 is a home away from home for my 9 month old lab Bowie. I brought Bowie to Man K9 as soon as he was old enough to start training. We worked with Ricky who is the most patient and wonderful trainer. I travel frequently and knowing that Bowie loved his time training made boarding at Fon Jon a natural fit. Anthony and team are so awesome. I know I can always call and check in. Bowie comes home a happy dog every time! Thank you🐾😊
