I think I first boarded my dog somewhere around 2005/6ish. My dog then had a great time and I've boarded again here recently after returning to the area. I've never had a complaint. It's family run and isn't any sort of fancy set up. It works great for me. I do understand that there are odd and strict hours, but again I've never had a problem. Recently I researched some other places, but they would charge an extra fee if you picked up after noon. Frandy Oaks charges by night so no matter if you pick up in the morning or afternoon you are not charged extra.

Do not entrust your pet to this kennel. We took our healthy dog there. When she was picked up 8 days later, she was walking unsteadily and had to be lifted into the car. She was taken to the emergency room later that day. She had a 105 degree temperature and a kidney infection. Multiple vet visits using IV did not stop the infection from moving to her heart. She died a few days later. If this had been dealt with properly, our dog probably would have lived. The kennel should have monitored our dog better. They should have taken her to a vet. They should have contacted us. We were reimbursed by the kennel's insurance for the medical expenses. But this experience was traumatic for our family. We lost a loyal member of our family unnecessarily.

Just boarded my dog for the weekend and the experience was great. The kennels are clean, the yard is huge, and everyone was kind and honest. A lot of places will lie about how your dog is adjusting just to make you feel better, but they were 100% honest in how he was doing. If I ever need to board him again this will be my first choice! Thank you!!

We had our 2 lab boys stay here 2 nights and they came back happy and healthy! They seemed to really enjoy themselves and were tired when they came home! All of their belongings came back just the way I sent them! I love that this is a smaller kennel and all their kennels are indoor/outdoor runs! They have a GIANT yard they let them out to potty and run around in! Facility looks clean and the owner is a very nice woman! I have one pup who is more on the skiddish side(not aggressive, just scared) and she knew just how to handle him! This is definitely our new kennel for when we go out of town! Only down side was not being able to pick them up Saturday evening when we returned, had to pick up Sunday morning instead!

I left my cats there when I went on vacation, and I left my dogs with my father-in-law. Seeing how well they treat their animals, I'll leave my dogs there next time, too. Fran and Randy, the owners, are really nice people, and not in a fake way, like so many other professionals. Their manager? Employee? I don't know her title, Juliana is also very polite, and clearly loves the animals. 10 out of 5. 👍👍

This is the third time that I have left my loved ones with Fran and Randy. This time, we had 4--my 2 older 12 yr old brothers and our son's 2 (one that had never stayed in a kennel before). I was worried about the older ones since they had not been there for 4 years. Fran and her crew took excellent care of our boys and they looked wonderful when we returned after 10 days. She was also very attentive and responded to every quizzical email that I sent. She calmed our fears and loved our boys. What more can you ask for???
