Happy Tails Toledo Pet Boarding Pet Grooming

We boarded our dog (80lb Labrador) here for four nights and had a fantastic experience from start to finish! One of the things we loved most was that group play is actually included with boarding. Not a separate fee. They do a temperament test onsite, nothing you have to pay for, to make sure every dog is safe and comfortable, and knowing our pup would get plenty of playtime and socialization really put us at ease. They also sent us photos of our dog every single day, which was such a comfort while we were away. The staff is absolutely wonderful; you can tell they genuinely care about the animals and treat them like their own. Our only complaint is we wish doggie day care started a little earlier in the morning so we could come here more often! We will definitely be boarding here again. Highly recommend!

We started taking Brody there for daycare and he gets so excited to go! drags us to the door now! I love how they take photos and send them to you during his stay. Just had him groomed there this week and the groomer did a good job for the first time grooming him and was reasonably priced. It was cut a little shorter than I like but that’s just us getting to know what I like. I will definitely take him again to be groomed! We’ve had other friends board their dogs there with absolutely no problems so if we ever needed to board him we would do so there!

Worst place ever. Left for a business trip for 3 days. Boarded my dog, asked if they can trim the face before I get back they said yes. Upon arrival…MY DOG IS SHAVED DOWN. In the winter time??? I never asked for a full body groom. There were no mats or anything. The face that when I came to pick up…nobody was even in the room. I literally could have took my or anyone dog and no one would have known. This place sucks. Worst part is, my dog came out having WORMS!! They don’t even check anybody records. Never again

We recently moved back to Toledo after living out west for 15 years. Happy Tails was recommended for grooming and I have three dogs so was relieved that they were recommended plus are less than two miles from the house. Our groomer Kristie took on all three for baths, brush, nails, the works. She did so great with them, including my little one who is scared of everything. I’ve bathed and groomed him myself since we got him 10 years ago because he’s so skittish around people. But she did great and he looked amazing including short nails! I was very impressed and hope to have her as our groomer for years to come!

Excellent facility. Please spread the word. Conveniently located. We had never boarded our two small dogs (7 and 9 pounds) — we were able to talk with the owner and animal care specialists. All employees are competent and friendly. Clearly everyone here loves animals. Outside play time is part of the boarding routine. Okay groups and treats are optional upgrades.

We boarded our two dogs for 6 nights in the vip room so they could be in the same kennel together. Both dogs get anxious about new things but they didn’t seem bothered at all. The staff understood their separate food schedules and had them playing with other dogs their size the whole time, even if they were anxious they’d be too tired to be bothered by it. Paige sent some pictures and let me know they were doing good. There was a miscommunication in the pricing but someone called a day later to reconcile and even gave a further discount when I said we got engaged on our vacation (don’t recall his name but he was fantastic as far as customer service goes)! Great staff, my dogs were happy and healthy, I will be using them again.
