I can’t say enough wonderful things about Roland at Yavadog. He is incredibly professional, patient, and deeply committed to the well-being of every dog he works with. My reactive rescue dog came in nervous and unsure, and Roland immediately created a calm, safe environment where he could learn, decompress, and grow. Not only is Roland an exceptional trainer, but he also offers a safe and structured space for dogs to socialize—something that’s especially valuable for rescues and reactive dogs. My dog learned how to be around other dogs without fear, and that alone has been life-changing. The progress we’ve seen is amazing. My dog is more confident, responsive, and grounded thanks to Roland’s guidance. He treats every dog with respect and genuine care, and it shows in the results. If you have a rescue, a reactive dog, or just want a trainer who truly gets it and provides a safe space for growth and socialization, I highly recommend Roland and Yavadog. It’s truly the best decision we made.

Roland is hands down one of the best dog trainers! I love his positive, reward based approach instead of punishment. This makes training more fun and relaxed. You can tell he truly loves dogs, and that passion shows in the results. I've sent several friends his way, and each of them had a great experience too. The owner / trainer is super passionate about dogs and it truly shows. I decided to give this place a shot and I couldn’t be happier. Mack has a new place he loves and has already made several new friends. Besides the attention Roland gives to each and every dog, I noticed the super cleanliness at all times, which is always one of my biggest concern at daycares.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but Roland at Yava Dogs definitely deserves one. He watched our dogs overnight, and the whole experience was smooth and stress-free from start to finish. You can tell right away that he knows what he’s doing and genuinely cares about the dogs in his care. That kind of trust is hard to find, and it made a big difference for us. It’s a relief knowing we now have a reliable place to leave our dogs when we’re out of town or just need help during the day. I highly recommend Yava Dogs. I have a 2 year old, 97 pound Lab who is full of piss and vinegar. When I met Roland, I told him my dog was trained but needs work on his social skills. Roland would not give up on him. Whether your pup has social anxieties or no impulse control, he will do his best to help them overcome it. Roland truly loves what he does and he is honest and communicates with us through the whole process.

My German Shepard, Einstein, loves spending time at Yavadog. He cries when he comes back home. Yavadog’s staff is friendly and very knowledgeable and treats Einstein with care and love. The facility is clean and spacious. Super happy to have Yavadog in the neighborhood!
