SPAW Pet Grooming of Abilene Texas

Stay away from Spaw pet grooming and boutique!! Had my boy groomed there today. Whoever groomed him cut his nails way way too short and he was dripping blood everywhere. Nobody said anything about until after I went to the car with him and realized he bled all over my entire outfit and in my car. When I went back in the lady did help by putting quick clot on it but stated "oh it was you who was bleeding, I noticed blood all over the floor." I am very disappointed with the fact that she realized someone was bleeding and didn't bother to check who. Who knows how long he was on the floor bleeding before I got there. It was very obviously him if she had even looked. I am just not happy with not only what happened to my dog but how it was handled. I understand things happen but it’s the way it was handled that irked me. I was offered no refund or even an apology. I had to go and buy more quick clothes and vet wrap too. I got an email back from the owner and all she offered me was a $10 coupon to get his nails cut there again as if I’m ever bringing my baby back there 🤣 Very disappointed, do not bring your babies there.

Absolutely the BEST spaw experience CoCo and Winston have ever had. The team is friendly, knowledgeable and loving to my babies. Stephanie has been taking care of all my dogs for years! They are the best!

Just the best absolutely the best recommend if I could give 1020 stars I would have recommended three sets of family members and all have done great for all my family members. Thank you staff y’all work so hard and appreciate you 100% you need to bring your pets here.❤️🐶🐶

Bri, at SPAW, groomed our dog Kira on short notice over Christmas holiday. The online app was easy to use and we were lucky to get her only opening. She did an amazing job and had to spend a lot of extra time since our Pomsky is very fluffy and tends to have some matting and needs lots of brushing. Bri was so kind and very patient to give her the extra time and care she needed.

Love love love that my baby comes to SPAW Pet Grooming. I was so surprised the 1st time at how quickly they sent text to let me know my fur baby was ready. Other groomers we had to be there early, and pretty much stay all day or 1/2 day minimum. Here, it was like 1 hour and he was ready!! So they are very good at keeping on schedule and I so appreciate that since I drive from 45 minutes away. Now if I could keep on schedule, it would be even better!! Lol Thank you groomers !!! You all are appreciated!!

When I picked up my labradoodle, I asked the lady, how did he do? Her response was that he hates the blow dryer and next time I bring him in, she is going to think about giving him a calming medicine. I asked why and she said because he was too squirmy and wouldn’t stay still. Keep in mind that where he is being cut, there were five other dogs roaming around, so my dog naturally was distracted and wanted to play. The lady didn’t have any positive things to say about my dog. His hair was brushed out so I couldn’t really tell how much he was trimmed. When I got home and took a better look, I’m not sure they even gave him a haircut and they did not trim his nails as I asked. The worst $100 bucks I spent. This was my second time going there, the first time was about five years ago with a different dog. The staff was rude then but I thought I would try again. Never Again will I be back!!!

Took my fluffy girls to Spaw for the first time today and this was the best bath and haircut they’ve ever had! The staff was friendly, my girls were happy and beautiful. Very pleased!
