5/5 Stars - Exceptional Care for Anxious Pups! ​I cannot recommend Barkin’ Purr enough! I recently took my 2-year-old Goldendoodle, Lily Rose, here for the first time, and I am beyond impressed. As a 50lb doodle who gets a little anxious in new environments, I’m always a bit nervous trying a new spot, but the team here made us feel at ease immediately. ​The groomer did an absolutely incredible job, Lily Rose looks beautiful and smells amazing! What really set them apart, though, was the genuine care they showed. They even took her for a quick walk after her appointment so she could relieve herself and stretch her legs, which is such a thoughtful touch. ​To top it all off, the owner reached out the next day just to check in and see how she was doing. It’s rare to find a business that truly cares about the animals this much. I am so happy to have finally found our go-to groomer here in Allen. If you’re looking for a place that treats your pets like family, this is it!

We didn’t have the best experience with our first grooming visit elsewhere, so we were a little nervous going into this one. From the moment we walked in, the team made us feel welcome and at ease. They took the time to answer all of our questions, explain the grooming process, and ensure we felt comfortable every step of the way. I believe the sweet lady at the front desk was Julie—she was so kind, positive, and welcoming. And Honey’s groomer, I believe her name was Des, was absolutely wonderful! She was friendly and caring both before and after the appointment, and Honey seemed so happy and comfortable with her, which meant the world to us. It was definitely time for Honey’s summer cut, and when we picked her up, it felt like we got a brand-new dog! She looks amazing, and we LOVE it! Thank you for giving our sweet girl such a positive experience. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

I brought my mini Goldendoodle, Grace, in for a puppy cut and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The customer service was excellent from start to finish & everyone was so friendly and welcoming, especially Linda the owner, which really put me at ease as a new dog mom. Des was our groomer, and she did an amazing job! Grace looks absolutely adorable and smells so fresh. You can tell Des truly cares about the dogs she works with. We’ll definitely be coming back — highly recommend! 🐾💖

Absolutely fantastic job on my schnauzer! Our little girl always loves going to her sPAW-day! It’s truly enjoyable to see her so happy, nicely groomed and smelling amazing when I come to pick her up, so timely in all they do - a fabulous establishment that you won’t regret having your pet enjoy a day with!

Mocha’s first experience here was today, and we will definitely be return customers! She looks and smells SO good!! I paid $85 before tip which I think is fair, considering everything that was included. They were done faster than expected too, and didn’t miss a thing! She was also very happy when we left, so the groomer did an amazing job all around.

We always have a great experience at Bark & Purr! They do such a great job with our pup. He always comes back super clean and happy after his full grooming! We’ve tried lots of other places and always come back to Bark & Purr because they really listen to your requests and truly love animals. Their staff is incredibly friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love bringing Luna here! The team always does an amazing job with her grooming - she comes out looking adorable every single time. They’re also super affordable, which is a huge plus. Last time we went, they even gifted Luna a cute dress just because they thought she’d look pretty in it - and she loved it! Highly recommend to any pet parent looking for quality care and kind-hearted service!
