The Grooming Lodge

Don’t exactly have a before picture of the pups but do have one of the car from the ride over. Needless to say, one doesn’t like car rides and they both were handed over in less than ideal condition, worse than they’re normal ungroomed selves. As always, Sean and team restored the girls to their speckled beauty with love and care, and I’m sure lots of laughs. Thank you for always loving on our girls and accepting them for their crazy doodleness.

I go here for nail trims for my dog, and I want to bring my other dog too. They don't use the clippers, the guy (Sean I think? I have a bad memory) who does the nails uses the Dremmel grinder. I think it's easier on the dogs than the clippers. He's strong and can handle the dogs easily. My dog is kind of squirmy and not happy about being there. But I am happy with the nail services here. I don't take them for grooming since they're short fur... I would but I just wash them at home.

Shaun is awesome. I have a super nervous terrier and only Shaun can do his nails well! Highly recommend.

I had a very strange and uncomfortable experience trying to book an appointment with this grooming salon. Before you can even schedule your first grooming session, they require an in-person "meet and greet" where you must bring your dog to the salon. This means making an extra trip and spending additional time just for a meeting — and it’s not free. You have to pay $25 simply to meet the owner. During this meeting, they decide whether they are able to provide services for your dog, which honestly gave me the impression that they may not have enough qualified groomers or confidence in their own staff. What felt even more unusual is their lack of trust in customers. When you call to book, they may question basic information about your dog (such as age or color), as if clients are expected to lie about their pets. That level of distrust toward customers is very odd and uncomfortable. Overall, the internal policies feel excessive, inconvenient, and quite weird for a grooming salon. For me, this was a very off-putting experience, and I would not recommend this place.

This place is awesome! Our baby Rani have been going for her grooming for past 2 years. Sean handles her so well, like a baby! Staff is excellent. Will recommend to anyone who is looking for a grooming place.

My shaggy girl looked, felt, and smelled amazing after her groom here. Everyone was really great and the pricing was really reasonable for the quality of the work. At pickup they asked if I wanted bows in her hair and I said uh, duh!

We have been taking our poodle mix to The Grooming Lodge 3+ years. Sean and Team always do an excellent job. Very professional and personable. Delaney did a great job on our last visit! Thank you! Highly recommend
