The Hound Hut

I absolutely love bringing my fur babies here! We’ve been loyal customers of The Hound Hut for a long time and I can’t say enough good things about Jared and his amazing team. They always do a fantastic job, provide excellent care, and their prices are very reasonable. I truly couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Edit: The day I posted this the owner did call and speak with my husband. He did offer to try and make the cut better but unfortunately she does not have enough hair left for that. We were refunded and he did apologize and said if we want to try them again he knows they can do better. I appreciated him reaching out. I will add a star just bc he did try to make it better. We took my dog here to get her hair cut and when my husband picked her up I was mortified at what they thought was a good cut. They butchered her hair. There are so many gaps and it's so short. Looks nothing like the pics we showed them. She was basically shaved down and we did not ask them to do. We showed them exactly what we wanted and this was not it!

Very friendly but unfortunately the decline in the their performance has made me decide to look elsewhere for my grooming needs. When I started going here a little over a year ago. I was amazed at how well they did my Mia’s hair. The last time I went, she wasn’t bathed her ears were dirty and she had some cuts that were very off in her hair. Today I picked her up and she has literally been butchered. There is no even cats on her head, her mouth around her mouth, that hair was matted, her front legs the hair is long, her back legs that Hair is shaving on her back. There is a bald spot, and her tail has not been trimmed. It leads me to believe that this time she was not babe that was cut and sprayed the smell good she is not clean. I will have to take her elsewhere to get her rebathed. I truly like the people there they were very, very friendly but I don’t Know what changed over the last months with their service.

Missy needed grooming and the Hut has blessed us with doing a great job every time. I recommend this place without reservation.

This place is wonderful! They were able to take me immediately (as I forgot to make an appointment). They asked what I wanted and then told me what they could do for a first time professional groom on my elderly, half-deaf & half-blind, rescue Pekingese mix. I was a bit uneasy having to leave her there b/c I didn’t know if she’d be too anxious—but when I picked her up an hour later she was happy and more alert than she has been recently. And the cost was far less than I expected to pay. Staff is friendly and helpful. They even put a cute scarf on her.

The Hound Hut has been great with my Golden, Hamilton. They are always able to get him in the same day, take great care of him, and send him home clean and happy. They are very friendly and affordable.

This place is amazing!!! They did a wonderful job grooming my golden retriever and they were kind and friendly throughout the entire process. I greatly appreciate the attention to detail and level of care that they put into their work, and I will be coming back here for all of Cocoa's grooming needs in the future.
