The Dog Spa

We were in the market for a new groomer for our 16YO papillon bc our previous groomer would keep her kenneled for SIX hours. At her age it was cruel and frankly, I see no reason why this is necessary. We received a mailer from the Dog Spa at the perfect time. She had her first groom last week and they did a fabulous job! Her cut is perfect - pretty feet, shaped well, but not too short so she still has her ear and tail fringe. Her coat is so fluffy and soft. She feels like a bunny rabbit. And she was home in about two hours. We are so pleased! Thank you for taking great care of our fur baby!

Emelio is amazing! He did such an incredible job with our pup, and you can truly tell how much he loves both dogs and his work. Our Bernese Mountain Dog, Kiwi, has never looked better. Thank you, Emelio! My only note is that it was a wee bit more than I was quoted on the phone originally. Also a bit pricier than places we’ve gone to in the past. But, if you can, ask for Emelio he is worth it - does incredible work!

Emilio and Kimberly made my nervous dog feel at home. She is not an easy dog to deal with and they made the process smooth and personal- plus she looks amazing! I'm glad we have a local groomer in the area, we will definitely be going back!

We brought our 16 week old puppy Eleanor here for the first time and it was such a wonderful experience! Emilio was extremely knowledgeable and so kind with our baby girl, and everyone else we met was great as well! The atmosphere as a whole was peaceful and an amazing introduction into grooming our girl-we look forward to coming back!

Emilio is the best dog groomer! I have followed him to the Dog Spa from his previous groomer job. My senior dog is 16 years old, and he’s so gentle with her and does an amazing job with her haircut!

Thanks so much for doing a wonderful job with my pup! The groomer was wonderful and gave me good advice on keeping up with the doodle fur between visits. My baby was treated with love and care and I felt really good leaving her at the dog spa for grooming.

We brought our dog to Dog Spa for a full grooming. When we picked her up they charged us $20 more than the quoted price. At home we noticed the groomer had cut her stomach for which we have pictures. Three to four days later our dog was shaking her head at which time we noticed her ear was full of dirt and was infected. We contacted the shop not asking for any compensation but an explanation of what happened during the appointment and the service they failed to provide but charged us for. They did not offer any explanation of what transpired during the appointment and accepted no responsibility for the condition our dog. We also took her for her ear to the vet, who confirmed finding dirt and an infection. We do not recommend taking your dog there for grooming. This is not what one should expect when you go to a professional groomer.
