The Grooming Post

Not too sure how I feel about this place. First time coming here, I called to schedule an appt and it took two months to get an appointment. Was told to drop him off anytime between 9am-11am. Dropped him off at 9:45am, at 1:30pm I called them because I hadn’t heard from them and they said he’d be ready around 3. This seemed like a very long time for a grooming appointment (and a very inconvenient time as my child gets home from school a little after 3). When my dog got home I noticed his chest looked very raw like the holder they use to groom him was too tight. He didn’t have a bandana and he’s been shedding a lot since so I don’t think he had a good brush out. The price was very affordable so that’s a plus but I’m not sure how comfortable I would feel bringing him back.

Tracy is so wonderful with the animals. My dog, Lord Behr didn't even fuss when she filed his nails.

I have 2 dogs, they spent a few hours there and they came out extremely soft, smelling good, and with cute, festive Valentine's Day bandanas on! They did an amazing job!! We will definitely be going back!

We have been taking our dog Casey to see Tracy for 9 years now. She loves it there and gets soooo excited whenever we say "do you want to go see Tracy" I wouldn't dream of taking her anywhere else. We have always been very happy with the service that The Grooming Post provides. We highly recommend.

I've been bringing our little Mello there for five years... wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff is awesome - friendly and they do a great job! Plus, Mel loves to go too!

I discovered the grooming post after having a bad experience at another place. I was hesitant to continue bringing my dog somewhere but decided to give it a chance. I was not disappointed. My dog came out smelling fresh and looking beautiful. If the groomer found something wrong she would tell me at the time of pickup. If I had concerns I would tell them and they would acknowledge. All I have to say is what a great staff. I will miss bringing my dog there.

Have been bringing my pets since they were located in Pawtucket. Great prices and awesome groomers!
