Groomingdale's of Austin

My pup Rio is a 2 yo Toy Australian Shepherd On our first visit he was given a shorter cut than I was used to but it was adorable! He was a movie star at the airport when we traveled! So many ppl asked about him (but he tends to get a lot of love and attention anywhere we go! But especially after his cut). They also give side nail trims that are far more reasonably priced than closer into town groomers. You can drop in for the trim but check days and times. Definitely will go back!

We love Groomingdales of Austin. I have been coming here for almost a decade. Great prices. Great team. Great service. My dogs love going to their doggy day spa. I LOVE the in house made bows every pup gets after grooming. A before video of the excited spa visitors. And after pictures including the bows. These are two happy pups.

This place is phenomenal! I needed a last minute appointment for my Great Pyrenees. which, is almost unheard of but they fit me right in! Not everyplace welcomes large dog breeds but let me tell you, the staff was very friendly, welcoming, and professional. Jordan did an amazing job! She was very knowledgeable about the breed. I have paid far, far, more for a grooming appointment before and I’m shocked at the value that I received. We will absolutely be returning. She smells amazing and the grinch feet have been tamed! Groomingdale’s is the standard.

Been going here for years even when management changed several times. I have two recent dogs I have been taking there. A few months ago they said they couldn't do anything but shave the dogs because there was so much matting. I trusted their opinion and I tend to agree that was the case. Just took them in last week and the groomer again stated there was too much matting and charged me a matting charge. I told her I combed both dogs every week and the night before with a fine-toothed comb and I knew for a fact there was no mating. I don't think they would have given me my dogs until I paid. This place will upcharge anything without telling you. The pricing is so high I can't go here anymore and wasn't happy at all with how the groomed my golden doodles head. One thing I requested was to get the hair away from the eyes. From her eyes to nose they shaved almost down to the skin. The ears are all puffy. Quality just has gone down a lot and everytime I go in, there is little to no dogs there. Here's a pic of my golden doodle.

This place was recommended by a friend who takes her dog here too. My pup looks great and I plan to come back again! The only thing I would say is to look up their website as there’s 2 numbers. I kept using the one listed on google maps and it didn’t go through. I tried the second number and it worked. Not sure why there’s 2 phone numbers but if one isn’t going through, try the other one. Also, I submitted an online form to get more info and no one followed up.

I have taken all of my dogs to Groomingdale’s and always had a wonderful experience. The staff is so caring and genuine. Most recently, I took my new puppy by for a nail trim and overheard them singing "You are my sunshine" to comfort him. They are so sweet and do an excellent job!

Loved this place at first but eventually realized you can get better elsewhere. I have a very anxious dog and at first they were nice but after a while it seemed like bringing my dog in bother them. Tried a different groomer and his new groomer said he was beyond well behaved which surprised me because I was always told that he was "difficult".
