Mud Puppies

I've been coming here just for nail trims for a while now. I usually don't have any problems, but today was extremely concerning. A groomer came out that I don't think I've had before and he picked up my dog without supporting her back legs. She was squirming a clearly uncomfortable. I put my hand under her back feet but he didn't get the memo until I asked him outright to support my dogs legs. If he isn't even aware of the most basic thing like that I don't want him anywhere near my baby. I think his name was Matthew but I'm unsure. I've had a few different groomers that have slightly struggled to take my dog to the back cause she hates nail trims, but with Vic my dog goes right with them lol. So shout-out to Vic, thank you for making my girl feel comfortable and safe!!!! Sorry I couldn't give more stars. Vic deserves 5 stars!

There are so many great things about Mud Puppies! The entire staff is so welcoming (to both me and my big furbaby), and most importantly, he always wants to go play. I never worry about him when I leave him because I know he gets top notch care. The groomers are outstanding and he gets many compliments on our walks in the neighborhood.

Excellent. I always take my whippet Rico there for his nail trim. Staff is super friendly always. Prices are great.

Finally getting around to writing this review. While the front desk staff was very kind, my experience with the groomer was disappointing. The groomer was rude, and my dog had two significant cuts after the appointment that I was not informed about. I understand that dogs can move during grooming, but it’s essential to communicate any injuries to the owner. At a $200 price point, I expect transparency, professionalism, and basic respect. Unfortunately, that standard was not met. I will never be returning for the safety of my dog.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I took my two labradoodle puppies for their first grooming, we went in at 10:15am and it wasn't until 5:00pm that they called me to deliver them (almost 7 hours) I told them clearly that I wanted to keep the hair long or thin it out a bit .. When they were delivered to me I almost cried, they were completely bald... according to the explanation of the "stylist" who did not even think of calling me before doing what he did, I think it is a lack of professionalism since according to him my dogs had many knots, and it's not true because I brush my dogs 2-3 times a week. In addition, my dogs came out very irritated and sore from that place, even when I try to check their ears, they cry and won't stop shaking their heads. I'm too disappointed in this place. My poor puppies couldn't sleep all night, they don't stop scratching, licking their whole body and shaking their heads all the time; I will have to take them to the vet tomorrow.. I am very scared for them.. I've cried since my puppies left this place. What a horrible experience 😭😭😭 I DEFINITELY CHOSE THE WORST PLACE TO TRUST MY BABIES

Ms. Maisey stayed at playcare around Thanksgiving and was groomed the day I picked her up. The groomer Mathew does a great job and I am sure we will go there again.

I love this place. My puppy had her first grooming here. We went back to even out her fur after a bad grooming session elsewhere, and they did an amazing job, again! I love how my puppy smells after she's been to mud puppies. Such great staff and amazing service!!
